Just a half baked lil rant about how German football punditry will implooooode once their favourite people to pick on disappear into the woods, which will happen soon enough one way or another, why can’t yall chill… Like yeah sure we can say Manu is kinda injury prone (just checked, 5-6 muscle tears over the last 2 years, missing <4 games in avg + a rib fracture… felt more tbh, which might be part of the issue lol) but what about the guys 10+ years his junior who are/have been off for months on end on the reg and yet are not endlessly bullied about retirement. It’s been going for what now? 8 years? More? Not like he is in that effin goal on charity basis. I think we have seen how many fucks does Bayern give about anything, when they (think they) have better options. Really nothing against Urbig (except that he is not Manu lol), but I’m so tired of the “any shiny new thing over Manu” agenda by now. It’s been yearsssss. It definitely spanned across coaches, sadly. No matter who she played under, they didn’t appear to like Schüller’s style of play. Much to our chagrin. Lea wasn’t playing despite showing the improvement in other areas (as you mentioned before! 👍) and still be wildly productive when she had the chance. For bit club and country.
I sadly remember those conversations about Lea not starting. 😔
