YAY HAPPY MANDY MONDAY
7. what character did you begin to hate not because of canon but because how how the fandom acts about them?
they could never make me hate adam faulkner stanheight but boy have they tried. i used to really really like hoffstrahm but it’s hard and not just because saw 7 (worst saw movie argue with the wall) made me abhor hoffman. because i feel like a lot of fandom interpretations are really forgiving of both of them when the most interesting dynamic is the one they have in canon. i like exactly how many times we see hoffman crying. i like that strahm chases hoffman into his own death chamber. okay that one is because i’m the ceo of perezyoung and i want to trade him for lindsey and make her life sad but i think the point still stands idk. i’ve read a handful of good fix-it fics and i’ve seen a lot of really really really really terrible hoffstrahm art/fics/posts/takes so idk ultimately i just stick to what i like and block out most of fandom
8. common fandom opinion that everyone is wrong about
adam is dead… sorry… i also wish this wasnt the case but come on
16. you can’t understand why so many people like this thing (characterization, trope, headcanon, etc)
adam/lawrence/alison… alison needs to get with a real man like lynn denlon (here’s where i could link the fic i’ve been writing for years if i had made enough progress to publish it 😔)
ALSO on the subject of shipping i wish more people understood that shipping in saw should be weird and fucked up like you’re literally writing SAW fanfiction why are they paying their taxes. sure have them go to applebees* but at least make it a death trap somehow… you guyssss wheres the goreeeee
*(i cant even get started on the musical i’ll waste my whole night ranting)
18. it’s absolutely criminal that the fandom has been sleeping on…
perezyoung. did we not all read the sacred texts bad company (series) by doztoevsky. its so lonely being the ceo of perezyoung likeee GET ON BOARD. but like yeah women in general only me and my cool mutuals are doing it right

This Couscous Salad with Mint, Feta, and Delicata Squash is a great mix of tastes and textures. The roasted Delicata squash gives it a hint of sweetness, and the fresh mint and tangy feta cheese make it taste even better. This salad is great for a light and filling meal because it has a tangy lemon-balsamic dressing on top of it.
Ingredients: 1 cup couscous. 1 small Delicata squash, diced. 2 tablespoons olive oil. Salt and pepper to taste. ½ cup fresh mint leaves, chopped. ½ cup crumbled feta cheese. Juice of 1 lemon. 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar. 2 tablespoons honey. ¼ cup toasted pine nuts. ¼ cup dried cranberries.
Instructions: Turn on the oven and heat it up to 400F 200C. Add the diced Delicata squash to a bowl and season with salt and pepper. Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Place it on a baking sheet and roast it for 20 to 25 minutes, or until it’s soft and slightly caramelized. Wait for it to cool down. Bring 1 ¼ cups of water to a boil in a saucepan. Add the couscous, mix it in, cover, and take it off the heat. After 5 minutes, use a fork to fluff it up. Put the roasted Delicata squash, chopped mint leaves, crumbled feta cheese, toasted pine nuts, and dried cranberries in a large bowl. Add the honey, lemon juice, and the last tablespoon of olive oil to a different small bowl and mix them together using a whisk. Add this dressing to the salad and mix it all together. Add salt and pepper to the salad as needed. Delicata squash, mint, and feta should be added to a couscous salad. You can serve it cold or at room temperature. Have fun!

I have finally had the time to gather the supplies i need for repotting, and the additional sidequest of committing a fungicide.
There you can see my sickly little son, minthe, his new pants, the soil i bought, the fungicide suspension.
The nice old man who sold me the soil amd the fungicise who totally will call me a city slicker behind my back suggested i use 1 mil of the fungicude for 1 liter of water.
Now, turns out my spray bottle is 750 mils… it also turns out its fucking hard to measure out 1 mil of something if you dont have a pipette, so i eyeballed it. Is it possinle i over or under done it? Why of course!
I made sure to label the bottle well enough so the person i live with doesnt die

I separated the mint into two halves, my reasoning being that theres no reason to toss the old pot, and doing this will give me two plants, with plenty more room to grow.

Then i ripped off any rusty leaves, and spritzed thek with the fungicide. I have to do this once a week if my research was correct.
Is my darling boy dying?

Why are there black spots on his leaves, and drying leaves near the bottom?
