Lawrence the Crow

Age: 34

Gender: Man

Species: Starikle Crow

Personality: Lawrence is wise, determined, and deeply thoughtful. He carries himself with a serious and mysterious presence, often speaking carefully and only when necessary. Having lived through one of the most catastrophic events in Starland’s history, he bears the weight of ancient knowledge and responsibility.

Despite his stern demeanor, Lawrence genuinely cares about the future of Starland and the safety of its people. The loss of his companions during the battle against the Storm of Darkness left him more reserved and introspective, but it never weakened his courage or dedication.

Lawrence strongly believes in destiny, preparation, and passing knowledge to the next generation. To those he trusts, he becomes a mentor figure, guiding others with wisdom rather than commanding them directly.

(While his Likes and Dislikes are currently uknown, here are other stuff haven’t been used before)

History: Long ago, Lawrence foresaw that the Storm of Darkness would one day attempt to return. Realizing that the world would eventually need someone to stand against it, he ensured that the truth of the ancient battle would not be lost.

After the great battle, Lawrence used the power of the Star Gems to finalize the sealing of the Storm of Darkness. Sealing him in a compact mirror and his remains hidden within a sacred chest in a sealed temple.

Understanding that the seal might not last forever, Lawrence created a prophecy foretelling the arrival of a future hero.

The Prophecy: Lawrence secretly wrote and passed down a prophecy to the royal ancestors of Astropatra in Sphegypt. The prophecy foretold the return of the Storm of Darkness and the arrival of the one destined to face it.

It includes the riddle: “When the six stars are aligning together, an all-powerful cosmic being will awaken.”

The prophecy also foretells the birth of a Starikle with a pink star, the one who will rise to confront the Storm of Darkness after its return.

Notably, the prophecy never directly names the cosmic being involved, leaving its true identity shrouded in mystery.

Extra: The scar across Lawrence’s face was received during the final battle against the Storm of Darkness, a permanent reminder of the war that nearly took over Starland.

After the events of the ancient battle and the sealing of the Storm of Darkness, Lawrence eventually vanished without a trace. His current whereabouts remain unknown, leaving only the prophecy and his teachings behind for future generations.

He believes that every generation must eventually face its own trials, and that when the time comes, the chosen one will appear.

3/7/26.

Don’t waste your time doing a “Felt” search on this blog. Apparently I use the word “felt” quite a bit in these posts. Sometimes it’s in reference to the band led in the 1980s by Lawrence, but most of the time, I’m using the emotional “felt”.

Eric Janssen (The Lookyloos - among other bands) always proclaimed the greatness of the band, so I kept trying to like them. About 15 years ago it finally stuck. As I was ping-ponging around Bandcamp recently, I noticed that much of their catalogue is finally up.

So, I’ll post the album that I inexplicably do not own, the jangly and beautiful “Forever Breathes the Lonely Word”. In the 1980s, Lawrence (Hayward) set out to make 10 albums and 10 singles, which he did. These were released on Cherry Red and Creation. While this album is the first without Maurice Deebank, it also is Martin Duffy’s true “coming-out-party” on the Hammond organ.

I can’t help but hear Lloyd Cole, Orange Juice and more modern bands like Pale Lights or even The Tyde when I listen to Felt (England). Now, excuse me while I rectify a wrong and purchase “Forever Breathes the Lonely Word”.

Lawrence Okolie Picks Daniel Dubois Over Fabio Wardley

“I think Dubois is going to win because he’s got a lot more experience and he’s beaten better guys,” Okolie told Sky Sports. “If they start trading, unless Fabio is that much quicker, Dubois definitely punches harder than him and will hurt him.”
The reasoning is clear. Wardley has speed and has produced sudden finishes, but Dubois has operated in longer, higher-level fights. Okolie is thinking…

Thank God we’re going away tomorrow. You still think that’s a good idea? Best one Dad’s had for ages. Only this morning, you were saying it would look bad if we ran away when things got tough. We’re just taking ourselves out of the equation until things settle down.

When I usually make these comics, they’re made on the whims so they’re unorganized and spontaneous. Idk if they make sense and sorry if it does lol

Some context below

Lawrence has a different form, his true form, in which he takes on a beastial appearance, resembling a sheep. He transformed after Justin was in danger by a different demon. He fends off the demon and approaches Justin hence is the start of this comic. This is an idea of how Justin reacts to Lawrence. I tend to be inconsistent with my stories so it changes or is not complete.

Lawrence

This is Lawrence, one of Greg’s employees. He enjoys staring ruefully into the distance, procrastinating, and 2:00 AM cello practice. A true artist.
