本日長年お世話になった愛用品が2点リプレースとなりました。
1. 所謂「ランドリーバスケット」だけど、乾いた洗濯物を畳んで一旦これに入れておいて、衣類棚に仕舞う迄の分類カゴとしても利用。先代はクロちゃんがやって来た2013年10月には既に利用されていたので少なくとも12年以上利用。この一年で急に痛み始めて補修テープで対応するのも限界になったので新規購入。COSTCOで購入したKeterブランドだったので一応COSTCOに見に行ったけど当然同様の製品があるはずも無く、ニトリ・コーナン・IKEA等のオンラインカタログで出来るだけ似たような物を探して、結局IKEAに遠征して無事購入(TORKISフレキシブルランドリバー　999円(税込み)x2)
2. イワタニのカセットコンロ(カセットフー“スーパー達人スリム”CB-SS-1-CO)。鍋料理や焼き肉だけでなく非常時の煮炊きに必須品だけど、流石にかなり錆びてしまっていて年初に錆取り剤で掃除したけどどうしても汚いままだった。↑の目的でCOSTCOに行ったら並べてあって、価格dot.comの最安価格(4196円）よりもかなりお安かった(3798円）のでついでに購入。取説/保証書付きの製品を購入したら必ず取説/保証書は保管しておくので、調べてみたら取説には製品名iイワタニカセット・フー　AP-5と99/05の記載があったので、多分99年の秋/冬シーズンに購入した様だ。

so ive been reading orion’s arm wiki articles for a while now, and am running into a very specific problem

so there’s this one hypothetical future meta-ideology(/quasi-religion adjacent thing (the term used is “ontology”)) within the setting called “keterism” that really speaks to me

it’s all about change and iteration and growth and voluntary chains of mentors and students. it’s about improving yourself in whatever way you see fit, memetic or physical. it’s deeply anarchic in its very foundations, deeply transhumanist in all senses of the word

its main “tenet” is simply:

“everything strives”

and i love all of that

but here’s the thing

the main “symbol” representing the keterist ontology is a monochrome irregularly shaped circular fractal pattern

WHICH LOOKS LIKE THIS

and like

it’s clearly its own thing

but if you don’t know the context it looks *WAY* too much like another symbol that represents an ideology with almost polar opposite values

and it sucks

Security personnel entered its cell to infrom it about the foreseeable events, to which the still drowsy entity reacted unideally. Security drew their weapons in self defense, earning a hostile snarl from the lycanthrope.

The personnel approached the entity armed, resulting in the lycanthrope to climb the wall and jump over security’s head, effectively breaching containment. The chase stopped when the entity reached the end the containment zone, trapped by a card activated door.

Personnel approached it again as E-11 arrived to the scene, resulting in the entity to lash out and freeze on-site security from the neck down, one bitten. E-11 Agents fired tranquilizer darts at the entity, subduing it from afar.

Damages: All rifles and armor used by on-site security frozen and unrepairable, building internal damage moderate.

Personnel condition: Scanned for the lycanthropy virus, all negative. Mild to moderate freezer burn on security personnel.

Deaths: 0

(this can be very interesting, regardless of gender, especially if they have kids. Do their family know? Friends? Do they have to navigate the Golem from home, while making dinner or changing diapers? Is their a גמח or an organized assistant, like Gmach Yoldot? (In first weeks after a birth, when the neighbours make meals and help with the kids and volunteer to help?)
