hello sweet jewtuals; that long video essay i was going to make on antisemitism on the internet has evolved into a semester-long senior project about the proliferation and presentation of antisemitism across time and in different regions. i fully plan on making my final paper publicly accessible to all y’all on here.
the intent of this project is to create a rubric on antisemitism simple enough that any gentile layperson can understand it. i’ve come to terms with the fact that people don’t want to listen to jews talk about our experiences and opinions on how we have been made to suffer for existing on this earth. my theory is that if people are going to come to their own selfish conclusions about antisemitism, they should at least be informed. people who don’t want to listen, won’t. but i’m hoping that it will be meaningful enough to those who will listen that it may make a difference. or whatever idk.
