Barbell Sumo Squats with added calf raise. Form is the most important thing. It’s great if you have a mirror you can watch yourself in. I know personally, bc of my knees, I tend to lean forward to compensate. So I really have to watch that.

Did the Hero WOD Tommy Mac this morning with @ben10green @crossfit_southeast_witham.
This is a barbell workout that involves a lot of burpees and the weight on the bar stays the same through out.
Weight for ladies is 35kg and mens is 52.5kg.

The workout is as follows;
2 rounds for time of:
💪12 burpees
💪12 thrusters
💪 12 burpees
💪12 power snatches
💪12 burpees
💪12 push jerks
💪12 burpees
💪 12 hang squat cleans
💪 12 burpees
💪 12 overhead squats

I couldn’t upload the whole video as the first round alone took me about 18 mins 🙈🙈🙈 I took 40 mins to complete the whole WOD.
But I tried my best to retain my form and that is hard towards the end of an intense workout.
I did this workout fasted to burn more fat.

I will be practicing my overhead squats on a regular basis and I really want to develop my upper body strength further. You got to have goals!

Look at that bar bend tho. Top triple went for 5 at 430 today on Wendler. Might have been able to rip another but form felt slightly broken on last rep. When your form breaks, THAT is failure folks. Don’t push through if your form goes to crap. Especially with deadlifts. That’s snap city.
