Okay I just wanna set some things straight for a particular sort of conversation I’ve seen recently.

I’ve seen posts on other platforms quite a bit that a lot of nostalgic games have been discontinued on the AppStore, which sucks, but people are immediately jumping to the conclusion that it’s “lost media” because they can’t download them anymore.

The games I’m talking about specifically???

These. Three. Titles

Now, this is the pirate-people-and-do-it-yourself website, so you’re probably thinking that I’m going to say there is a way to play these games on pc on an emulator or something.

And there is (scroll to bottom of post to see list)-

-but that’s not what I’m specifically talking about. This is a post meant for both the people who are good at GitHub and hacking, and those who aren’t as tech savvy as others yet.

If you’re looking to play any of these three titles, there is a PHYSICAL COPY OF ALL THREE.

ANGRY BIRDS TRILOGY

The one shown above was the specific angry birds game I grew up with, but there are so many more that you can find for other various platforms. Some like the ones below

This is where the more experienced people can come in.

There is a few different ways to emulate ABT onto a PC (3DS has multiple ways of doing it, but I’m too tired to research all of them) I’ve listed the links to the emulators as best I can

• Xbox 360 - Xenia Canary

Learned how to use Windows XP on VirtualBox so I can listen to music on this version of Windows Media Player again :D

I figured out how to pirate Harvest Moon without an emulator of any kind on android. Just straight up Harvest Moon for console but APK. I literally have a Harvest Moon app separate from all the other shit.

Someone deadass said “what if I made a way to download an expensive console game for free AND no emulator needed AND it’s just it’s own smooth-running app with no ads or defects of any kind”

When it comes to emulation scanlines and bilinear filtering is so 30 years ago.. pixel shaders are where it’s at and I wish official emulation would get with the program.. 😝🕹️💜
