Mit Mitteilung Nr. 1/26 vom 2. März 2026 stellt das DPMA klar, dass bei der amtlichen Recherche künftig auch externe elektronische Quellen – gegebenenfalls unter Einsatz von KI – genutzt werden können. Gleichzeitig wird ein Restrisiko eingeräumt, dass Inhalte aus nicht offengelegten Patentanmeldungen Dritten zugänglich werden könnten.
Für Patentanwälte und IP-Verantwortliche wirft das neue Fragen auf:

Application of Dipropylene Glycol Methyl Ether Acetate (DPMA)
With low odor, low viscosity, good solubility, moderate evaporation rate, and good coupling ability, DPMA can dissolve most of the resin like acrylic resin, epoxy resin, alkyd resin, and polyester resin. It is mainly used in solvent-based paint and silk screen printing ink. Besides, it can dissolve the special resin, and be widely used in flavor and fragrance industries.
Usage of Dipropylene Glycol Methyl Ether Acetate (DPMA)
DPMA is an industrial solvent and coalescing agent. The main commercial uses for DPMA are:
Cleaners – for industrial and residential uses
Coatings – as a solvent for automotive coatings for topcoats and refinishing (enamel paints and lacquers); industrial maintenance coating (corrosion control); metal coil coating (protective finish); and metal finishes
Other – domestic chemical, flavors, fragrance, etc.

Dipropylene Glycol Methyl Ether Acetate(DPMA) is mainly used as a solvent for inks, paints, inks, textile dyes, and textile oils. It can also be used as a cleaning agent in the production of liquid crystal displays. It is a low-toxicity and high-grade industrial solvent with excellent properties. It has strong solvent power for both polar and non-polar substances and is suitable for high-grade coatings, inks and a variety of polymers, including amino methyl esters, vinyl, polyester, cellulose acetate, alkyds, acrylics, epoxy resins, and nitrocellulose prime. Propylene glycol methyl ether propionate is the best solvent in coatings and inks. It is suitable for unsaturated polyesters, polyurethane resins, acrylic resins, and epoxy resins.
DPMA has low viscosity, strong dissolving power, a moderate evaporation rate, and a good coupling ability. It has good solubility for most resins such as acrylic resin, epoxy resin, alkyd resin, and polyester resin.
Packaging and storage of DPMA
It is packed in 200 liters of galvanized iron drums and transported according to the rules of Class B flammable liquids.
The container for storage should be tightly closed in a cool and dry place. Ensure that the workplace has good ventilation or exhaust equipment. In terms of inadvertent contact with eyes, one should rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. One should also wear appropriate protective clothing.

Teléfonos propietarios con protocolos estándar
Son muchas las empresas que, complementariamente a su fuente inicial de negocio, han decidido meterse en el mercado de los teléfonos IP. Es una opción que no me parece mal, ya que ofrecen un servicio, lo complementan dando la solución completa incluyendo unos teléfonos homologados y dando soporte de ellos.
Ejemplos de estos son Digium, Sangoma, Palosanto, y muchas otras empresas que, además de centrarse en la venta de hardware (appliances, tarjetas, gateways, etc…) también ofrecen teléfonos, algunos más personalizados, otros menos, reconocibles todos de otros fabricantes.
Digium es el creador de Asterisk y su negocio consiste en ofrecer servicios y hardware alrededor de este software, de manera que vende tarjetas, gateways, software, cursos de formación, appliances y por último: teléfonos.
Los teléfonos son SIP, certificados y perfectamente compatibles con cualquier otro sistema SIP, no obstante, se promociona con una serie de características muy novedosas que incluyen el uso de un módulo con su licencia (gratuita, eso sí) compatible con Asterisk: DPMA (Digium Phone Module Asterisk). Esto nos hace ver que estas características novedosas únicamente funcionan si utilizamos Asterisk con el módulo DPMA licenciado.
De la misma manera, Sangoma lleva muchos años vendiendo tarjetas de comunicaciones, gateways, software, appliances, y se acaban de meter en el negocio de los teléfonos SIP con muchas nuevas características muy interesantes que únicamente funcionan al 100% en sus appliances, o con Asterisk si se adquiere la versión comercial de FreePBX.
Efectivamente, en ambos casos los teléfonos son 100% compatibles con SIP y pueden ser utilizados en cualquier sistema SIP, no obstante y dicho por los propios fabricantes: “se recomienda utilizarlo con nuestros equipos para aprovecharlo al máximo”, algo que le quita un poco el sentido práctico a tener un teléfono compatible.
Soy consciente de que un teléfono que tiene ciertas características que no están específicamente asociadas al protocolo SIP (como ver visualmente los mensajes almacenados en el buzón de voz, recibir noticias centralizadas en un servidor, etc.) necesita de un sistema propio y preparado para hacerlo ya que de otra manera, no podría llevarse a cabo.
No obstante, esto me lleva a plantearme si estos teléfonos no están, pese a que utilizan un protocolo SIP, acercándose peligrosamente a lo que siempre hemos odiado de un teléfono propietario.

The initial sting still lingered deep inside of Sebastian’s chest, the pull that felt like it was tearing him in half, the crack that was just a chip slowly getting bigger with every step he took further away from his brother; it wasn’t exactly a nice feeling either, he felt empty, damaged, broken. It wasn’t normal, that much was true, because they were just brothers after all, and it shouldn’t have hit him this hard, but it was always different, a strange situation because Sebastian fell in love with who Carter was; he didn’t care that he was his brother, it didn’t matter that it would be completely frowned upon by society, it was a disaster.
The Smythe spent hours up, pacing his room, reading different books, looking at universities that were miles away from home, miles away from him so that he wouldn’t have to feel anymore, but Sebastian knew that it didn’t matter how far away he got because the feelings would just follow. The regret, the self-hatred, the hurt, it still all be there because it was his fault; he would eventually forget though, that much was certain, because the second the Alzheimer’s started to really kick in there wouldn’t much he could do about it, but he’d just be alone because he worked so hard to push everyone away, anyone who could potentially help him the most.
Sebastian wanted Carter, needed him, and he had beat himself up every minute of the day for thinking that he could do this without him, but it was too late now. The small argument escalated silently; it was just supposed to be them avoiding each other as much as possible, not caring and just being civil with each other, but then it had become much more than that, and he didn’t know why. Sebastian had thought he had done the right thing, figured this would be good for both of them in the long run, but he was wrong, dear God he was wrong because this was now and he couldn’t handle it.
“You’re ruining my life, you know that right?” was what he growled, ripping the door open to the bedroom he often passed, the door that he stared at for minutes on end before leaving slamming against the wall to alert his entrance, green orbs glaring hard at Carter who was inside, “You’re ruining my fucking life and you don’t even care.”
