just noticed there’s a typo on the job application email I sent this afternoon 😀🔫

i had to visit my old high school today, it was the first time I’ve been there in almost 5 years and i got so incredibly emotional.

I know there’s this whole thing about how only people who peaked in high school get to look back fondly on it, and as someone who definitely did not peak in high school (i have the pictures to prove it), i just can’t help but disagree with that.

Like, idk, it’s like the definitive place where my entire teenagehood happened. yeah, i had crippling anxiety and no self confidence whatsoever and i thought I was going to be a lawyer (🤢), but it’s also where I used to play cards with my friends every single day like we were gambling addicts, and tried to skip class to go to the mall get milkshakes, and crammed for exams while relying completely on the one smart friend to teach us everything an hour before the test.

There’s just something about having the same routine everyday and seeing these same people you get to grow up with that i just can’t hate.

Today I got to come back and take a look around the place and one of the first things i saw was a group playing cards in the cafeteria and that just got to me.

the percy jackson series should retcon travis and connor as twins. everyone already thinks they’re twins anyways (in and out of universe), there’s literally no reason on why they’re not and it always annoys me when I see people referring to them as twins (bc they literally aren’t) so that’d save me some energy

someone who’s seen stranger things 4 tell me what about kate bush happened. I don’t feel like watching it yet but I’ve seen it mentioned a few times and I’m like really curious

In Dapi, there always seems to be a smell of pickled mustard in the air. Barrels of pickled mustard and women sitting in circles processing it can often be seen on the side of the road. Mustard is harvested in the winter, dried and then pickled with coarse salt. After 30 to 45 days, it is ready for consumption.
