The Covenant at Mamre: A Divine Encounter

“The Lord appeared again to Abraham near the oak grove belonging to Mamre.” — Genesis 18:1

Abraham’s story is one of long waiting, deep longing, and astonishing grace. God had spoken a breathtaking promise over his life: he would become the father of a great nation, and through his descendants, blessing would spill out to the whole world. Yet the promise came without a schedule, without a…

Abram has just returned from a great victory, yet instead of triumph we see him wrestling with uncertainty. He has no heir, no visible fulfillment of God’s promises, and the future seems unclear. Into that moment God speaks words that still echo through Scripture: “Do not fear, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.”

Maybe it’s just me but I never really liked the aesthetic of the Covenant’s tech. It all looks like they bought it from Fisher Price and not for just how obnoxiously purple it all is and the plasma weapons just aren’t even remotely satisfying to use. Also sci-fi creators really ought to learn that alien doesn’t just mean nonsensical.

There are some designs I like, the Ghost is cool, the Carbine looks pretty slick and of course the Energy Sword is one of the most badass weapons ever. I do like the design of all the Brutes’ tech. It does a good job capturing the whole violent brutal space barbarians thing. I kinda wish all the Covenant’s weapons were like the Needler/Needle Rifle because shooting homing darts made of explosive crystal at people is both a) much more satisfying than tickling enemies to death with plasma guns that as Yhatzee once pointed out literally make the sound ‘pew pew pew’ and b) much more unique to Halo.

No Greater Assurance.

MaryEllen Montville

“And I assure you that the time is coming, indeed it’s here now, when the dead will hear my voice—the voice of the Son of God. And those who listen will live.” –John 5:25

Assurance, as defined by the world, in this case, by Oxford Languages: a positive declaration intended to give confidence; a promise; confidence or certainty in one’s own abilities.

Assurance, as defined…

This episode examines who the great betrayer of Yisra’el could be, what Mizmowr 89 actually reveals about Dowd, and why current Middle-East conflict, global politics, and Towrah prophecy are being linked together right now. The discussion explores who is involved, what the prophetic texts say, where modern events appear to intersect with those writings, and how topics like Rahab, Anti-Christ claims, nuclear escalation fears, and the Covenant timeline are being interpreted. By comparing scripture, world events, and the restoration message of Yahowah’s Towrah, the program explains why these developments matter now, how they fit the prophetic timeline, and what they may mean for Yisra’el and the Covenant going forward.

Seventy-three days ago, we began in Genesis.

From creation to covenant, from wilderness to Ruth’s quiet faithfulness, God has been showing us something steady — His grace.

Christ has been present in every book.

This journey isn’t about finishing chapters.
It’s about knowing God more clearly.

Grace has carried us this far.
And formation is happening.

Joshua 24 ends with a powerful call.
Choose this day whom you will serve.
But Judges begins by showing how quickly a generation can forget.
Faith cannot be inherited automatically.
Christ invites every generation to know God personally.
Grace makes covenant possible.
Knowing Him keeps faith alive.

He said, “Why did You leave me, my God?” On the cross.

So I can say, “God, You will never leave me nor abandon me.” Jesus paid the price so we’d never be separated.

If all things fell but You remained, I’m good.

Why did Jesus say, “My God, my God, why have You abandoned Me?” Because the Son of God cannot suffer in His divine nature. He said this to proclaim His purpose: to die fully as a man without sin, paying the penalty for our sins, and remove them.

“Since the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise partook of the same things.”(Hebrews 2:14)

Only moments later Jesus declared: “It is finished.” (John 19:30) Meaning the payment for sin was complete.

“My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me, for my Father has given them to me, and he is more powerful than anyone else. No one can snatch them from the Father’s hand. The Father and I are one.” (John‬ ‭10‬:‭27‬-‭30‬)

The body and the blood represent covenant. Jesus calling His disciples brothers is a covenant term. It means “You’re in—you’re part of the family. You are home.”

“Don’t cling to me,” Jesus told her, “since I have not yet ascended to the Father. But go to my brothers and tell them that I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.” (John 20:17)

When you give your life to Jesus, it isn’t just adopting a belief system to persuade God to act on your behalf. He sets you apart, and everything about you is transformed. It is a covenant—a marriage—where two become one. A life of intimacy with Him, where His heart becomes your heart and His ways become your ways.

The devil’s number one tactic is to reduce the power of your marriage with Christ to mere survival—when it was meant to be a life of union, intimacy, and transformation. Everything the devil sends against your soul is designed to convince you that you are alone—separated, abandoned, and without help—when the truth is that Christ is with you and in you.

Just cleaning up, nothing major has changed! It’s a bit like I cleaned up part 1 years ago prior to finishing part 2 :) I went thru and cleaned up part 2 a few months ago. I find it much easier to do when I’ve had a big break from the story and can read it like a reader rather than the writer lol. I’ll do the same to part 3 after a few months away from it.

Long story short, no. You won’t find any 😱😱omg new stuff😱😱 changes lol. I changed it to Asuma cuz in my own tiding up, I realized a single name was probably more ambiguous than Team Ten if Madara is listening lol. I do focus on tiding up dialogue the most because my initial dialogues are always a bit more in line with my general writing rather than how people would actually talk!

The LORD is Waiting If You Call Upon Him! (Isaiah 36-37)

Isaiah 36-37 continues our chronological study of the Book of Isaiah.
In Isaiah 36, Isaiah served as a scribe and historian, recording the Assyrian siege of Jerusalem.
In Isaiah 37, when King Hezekiah heard the Assyrians’ insults, he tore his robes, “went into the house of the LORD,” and humbled himself before the LORD. The LORD then gave Isaiah a sign that He would deliver Jerusalem.
