🇪🇺 Arctic Cold Air Heading Toward Europe
🥶 Early next week, a wave of cold Arctic air is expected to sweep across a large part of Europe.
Meteorologists warn of a sharp drop in temperatures, with overnight frosts, stronger winds, and the first significant snowfall of the season in some areas.
The cold front will affect central, eastern, and northern regions of Europe, potentially causing dangerous road icing and reduced visibility. Residents are advised to prepare for the sudden temperature drop and follow updated forecasts.
My game may be running on five frames per second but that won’t stop me from playing cold front🗣️🗣️🔥🗣️🔥🗣️🔥🔥

Surface Map: This morning’s surface map indicates that a cold front has advanced across much of the eastern United States, extending into the southern plains. As a result, temperatures are dropping and humidity levels are decreasing across much of the East, with the exception of the South, where conditions will remain hot and humid throughout the day.
Thunderstorms are expected to develop in parts of the Carolinas ahead of the cold front, bringing the potential for strong winds and heavy rainfall. Additionally, thunderstorms may occur along the stationary front that stretches from Montana down to Kansas, with some of these storms potentially reaching severe levels.
In the southwestern region, the monsoon flow persists in New Mexico and southern Colorado, where storms may produce locally heavy rainfall and increase the risk of flash flooding. Meanwhile, the western United States, from Arizona through Colorado and Nevada, will experience sunny and hot conditions, contributing to a heightened fire danger.

This morning’s surface map indicates the presence of a cold front extending from New England, traversing the Ohio Valley, and reaching into the Southern Plains. This front is expected to usher in cooler and less humid weather across much of the eastern United States throughout the weekend. However, ahead of the front, severe weather conditions are anticipated.
Severe thunderstorms are likely to develop from eastern Pennsylvania through New York and New Jersey, extending into the Mid-Atlantic States. In some instances, these storms may produce damaging winds and flash flooding. Additionally, regions in northern Pennsylvania, New York, New England, and southern Maine can expect further rainfall today, contributing to a notable drop in temperatures across these areas.
Thunderstorms are also forecasted to form across the High Plains, stretching from Wyoming down through Colorado, New Mexico, and western Texas. These storms have the potential to be intense, with the possibility of heavy rainfall and strong wind gusts.
Overall, the weather pattern today will reflect significant changes, with cooler temperatures and increased storm activity across various regions.

The surface map this morning indicates that low pressure is advancing toward the Great Lakes, accompanied by a cold front extending back into the southern plains, while another low-pressure system is present in the west. Today, that cold front ahead of the low-pressure system will be the focal point for severe weather. Some storms may produce damaging winds and hail. Snowfall will persist along the front range of the Colorado Rockies and into the mountains. This snow will gradually move south into New Mexico and may even affect parts of the higher elevations in northeast Arizona and Utah. Expect snowfall today into tonight, with most lower elevation areas receiving one to four inches, while higher elevations could see more than four inches. ❄️🌨️

The surface map this morning shows low pressure heading up into the Great Lakes. The cold front extends back into the Southern Plains. That cold front will be the focal point for flooding rains and more severe weather today into tomorrow. As we have said, there’s going to be some significant flooding rains across the high river valley over the next three days. Some areas seeing up to a foot of rain and some very bad flooding problems. Severe thunderstorms will continue to produce more damaging winds and tornadoes today along that cold front from the Mid-Atlantic states all the way back into Texas.

The surface map this morning indicates a low-pressure system over the Great Lakes, with a cold front extending through the Ohio Valley and into the southern region. Along this cold front, severe thunderstorms are expected to develop from Pennsylvania down to Georgia today. These storms have the potential to produce damaging wind gusts, hail, and possibly even tornadoes. In the northeast, the icy conditions have dissipated, leaving behind rain showers and the possibility of a thunderstorm. In the western region, snowfall is expected over the mountaintops, while rain showers are forecasted along the Pacific Northwest Coast once again.
Looking ahead to midweek, severe weather is anticipated to reemerge across the Mississippi Valley and Ohio Valley. There is a high likelihood of a flash flooding event occurring along the Ohio River Valley from Wednesday into Thursday. Stay informed and prepared for changing weather conditions in these areas.

This morning’s surface map shows low pressure coming through the Midwest with a cold front extending down through the Plains and a warm front across the Southern Great Lakes into the Appalachians. Ahead of that storm today, severe weather is going to break out across the Ohio Valley, down through the Mississippi Valley into eastern Texas. Within that severe weather zone, there will be storms that can produce damaging winds, even tornado activity, especially from Illinois down through western Tennessee into Arkansas. The western part of the country will be unsettled with mountain snows and valley rains as another storm system will be coming in through the west coast.
