When I am six feet under my grave,

and bugs eat my brain and heart,

they will taste my wasted potential,

the dreams I let go of,

the hobbies I abandoned,

and the hatred I carried for myself.

Had lunch at IKEA…

We had Swedish meatballs, fish and chips, cake, pie, and smoked salmon. Coffee and juice to wash it down. Circa 18RM per person which is several RM more compared to normal eateries. But the atmosphere at the Swedish cafe is well worth the visit and is one way Dad makes up with Mom over the under the table dealings.

Am finishing up the final 2 sections of chapter 4, Super Derek Underpants. Looks like it will be 2am before I can take my meds and sleep. I have never been to a rock concert before so it’s hard to write that part in. Will try my best. After that, shadowy government powers intervene and that’s all for the night.

Mindspace has been less chaotic today but the Liew witches are still angry over their wasted souls. We talked about true interpretation of scripture and the weird thing that knowing prophecy doesn’t necessarily profit anyone but those for whom it is intended to profit. Like Jesus said, those uninterested in the Kingdom, would remain so despite Him being there before them teaching -the Son of God himself.

My personal belief of the Kingdom -Jesus’ primary message, is that it is unstoppable. It must happen and people who feel that tug every day are those known to Him. People who fight against it are those aligned to Satan and you’d be surprised how many want an eternity without God’s prying into their hearts.

I awoke to darkness.
I was hungry—starving!—and I was in pain. There was nothing in my world but hunger and pain, no other people, no other time, no other feelings.

let’s talk about something the writing community doesn’t discuss enough.

you finished the book. you did the hard, lonely, months-long work of actually writing it. and now everyone’s telling you to just “put it out there” and “build your platform” and “engage with readers.”

but here’s the thing nobody tells you upfront: media coverage — real coverage, the kind that gets your book reviewed in publications and talked about on podcasts — isn’t something you can hustle your way into alone. it’s built on relationships and credibility that take years to establish.

this is genuinely what traditional publishers bring to the table. not just editing. not just a cover and a listing. actual publicists who know which journalist covers which genre, who pick up the phone rather than fire off cold emails, who time your press campaign so everything lands at once instead of scattered across six months.

the authors who come to us after trying to manage their own publicity say the same thing every time. the writing wasn’t the hard part. getting anyone in the media to pay attention without institutional backing — that was the wall.

your book deserves a real shot. 📚
