It’s a big day at Icom UK today as we celebrate and mark Darrell Bosley’s 40-year anniversary.
A young nineteen-year-old Darrell joined us back in 1985 in our stores and packing room at Thanet Electronics, still at our original home at 143 Reculver Road! Darrell joining made our numbers up to 14 people and his journey here at Icom has seen many changes along the way. Aside from the growth, some of these changes include a name change (to Icom UK) two moves of premises, the evolvement of analogue to digital and the introduction of VoIP/LTE and Satellite PTT plus much more.
Now a devoted grandad and known affectionately here by his friends and workmates as Boz, his journey at Icom has seen him work his way from the stores to the export department and onto PMR sales where he works today on our main sales desk.
His wealth of experience, product and industry knowledge combined with this 40-year milestone underlines Darrell’s loyalty to Icom and makes him an undeniable asset to the company.
