My dream catcher

Shinobu x Enmu, inspired by the classic Spiderman kiss. Maybe a future scene in my fic Ambiguity.

Enmu is not the “moaning twink” the fandom turned him into. He’s actually one of the smartest demons we see in Demon Slayer IMO. This is something that always confuses me when I see fan interpretations of Enmu because canon actually shows him as extremely intelligent. People reduce him to the dreamy voice and aesthetic and completely miss the psychological intelligence behind his actions. The best example is his scene with Muzan Kibutsuji. When Muzan summons the Lower Moons, every other demon does exactly what you’d expect: they panic. They apologize. They beg for their lives. They make excuses. Enmu does none of that. Instead, he praises Muzan’s cruelty. He doesn’t plead for mercy. He admires Muzan’s ruthlessness and says that his merciless nature is beautiful. And that’s the exact response that saves him. Because Enmu immediately understands something the other demons don’t: Muzan despises weakness. Muzan despises excuses. Muzan values absolute loyalty and admiration. So Enmu mirrors Muzan’s worldview right back at him. That’s not fear. That’s psychological intelligence. He reads Muzan in seconds and responds in a way that aligns perfectly with Muzan’s ego and ideology. And it works. Not only does Muzan spare him, he gives him more blood and power. That is not the behavior of a weak or submissive character. That is someone who understands power dynamics extremely well. Another thing people gloss over is that Enmu’s abilities themselves require intelligence. His Blood Demon Art isn’t brute force. It’s dreams. Dreams require: understanding emotions understanding subconscious desires exploiting psychological vulnerabilities When he attacks people on the Mugen Train, he doesn’t just fight them physically. He studies their minds and builds illusions tailored to their deepest emotional weaknesses. Even the way he recruits the train workers shows this. He preys on their exhaustion, their desperation for sleep, their emotional vulnerabilities. He offers them relief in exchange for service. He understands people. That’s his real strength. Honestly, I think the fandom misses this because his voice and demeanor are soft and dreamy, so people interpret that as submissive or weak. But that softness is strategic It’s part of how he manipulates people. Enmu isn’t physically intimidating like Kokushibo, and he isn’t socially overwhelming like Douma His danger comes from something quieter. He watches. He listens. He figures out what people want. And then he uses it. That’s why he’s interesting. Not because he’s a “twink villain,” but because he’s a psychological predator who understands people far better than they understand him.

I know he doesn’t have a girlfriend but I think he deserves one.

OH HE DOES!

So Chou has a few jobs related to sex work. She does have an OF for passive income. Her main job is as a stripper and she does sleep with people for the real dabloons

Place is very high end like ran by Daki and all that shit

Zoha became a regular customer at the strip club/brothel. He did make Daki have him as priority but that didnt stop Chou from having other clients. Those clients slipped through the cracks for Zoha tho

But the OF clients did not. They often paid extra to be in a video with Chou. It was ‘anonymous’ and all. Which is to say there was face coverings to protect identity. That didnt stop Zoha tho. He killed all the male clients that were visible on the OF. He even killed the female clients Chou had to include one of her besties from the club

He got the OF taken down not long after the best friend died which was a massive blow for Chou

She helps to financially support her father. He’s well off but Chou just feels he deserves so much more for saving her from a terrible situation when she was a kid

But its not long after the OF deletion that Chou is kidnapped by Zoha

Curiouser and curioser

So this was based on a discussion between me and @dangorabbit08 regarding that Tik Tok story of that Florida man who claims he was abducted by dolphins and forced to construct an underwater city. So why not do a demon slayer version?

Civil Engineer Claims Demons Forced Him to Design “Endless Castle”

The Tokyo Chronical 1922

TOKYO –Authorities yesterday questioned a civil engineer who claims he was abducted by “demons” and forced to design portions of a mysterious architectural structure he describes as an “infinity castle.”

The man, Mr. Shōji Takamura, age 38, was discovered wandering near the Sumida River late Sunday evening in a state of severe agitation. Witnesses report he was drawing elaborate architectural diagrams into the dirt while muttering about “corridors that move” and “rooms that rearrange themselves.”

According to statements provided to police, Takamura insists he was seized several nights earlier while returning from a construction survey outside the city.

“They came from the shadows,” Takamura reportedly told investigators.
“Not men, but demons. One of them had six eyes. Another carried a strange biwa. They dragged me into a fortress where the walls moved like a living puzzle.”

Police have not verified these claims.

An Impossible Structure

Takamura alleges he was forced to assist in designing sections of what he calls the Infinity Fortress,” a vast structure composed of endless chambers, stairways, and platforms suspended in empty space.

He claims the fortress constantly rearranged itself.

“Every time I finished drawing a staircase,” Takamura said,
“the entire building would twist. Rooms shifted. Floors folded into one another. It was impossible geometry.”

The engineer states he was ordered to design structural supports that would “never collapse no matter how the castle turned.”

Authorities note that Takamura’s sketches show unusual architectural forms, including floating walkways and repeating corridors that appear to defy conventional engineering logic.

The Demon Overseers

When asked about his captors, Takamura described several distinct figures.

  • A stern man with angry red eyes who demanded constant progress.
  • A cheerful individual with a fan who reportedly made “extremely inappropriate jokes.”
  • A sorrowful man who repeatedly told him about how he tortures people
  • A winged creature who perched upside-down on beams and offered unsolicited design suggestions.

“They argued constantly,” Takamura claimed.
“One wanted torture chambers. Another insisted the castle needed better views.”

Investigators noted that Takamura appeared especially distressed when describing a woman playing a biwa, who allegedly controlled the castle itself.

“Every time she plucked a string,” he claimed,
“the entire fortress moved.”

Questions Regarding the “Demon King”

During questioning, police asked Takamura whether he encountered the supposed leader of these demons.

The engineer grew visibly pale and refused to give a full description.

“They spoke of him constantly,” he said quietly.
“The Demon King. They feared him more than anything.”

According to Takamura, the demons referred to their master only as “Muzan-sama.”

“I never saw him clearly,” he claimed.
“But the entire fortress grew silent when his name was mentioned.”

A Demon Emerging From a Pot

Investigators were further puzzled by Takamura’s claim that one of the demons appeared inside a large ceramic pot.

“I was working on the foundation designs,” Takamura said,
“when suddenly a pot beside me began speaking.”

He insists that a pale creature with mouths for eyes emerged halfway from the vessel, critiquing his designs.

“He said my pillars lacked artistic flair,” Takamura explained.
“Then he suggested I incorporate more ‘aesthetic suffering’ into the architecture.”

The man alleges the demon repeatedly disappeared back into the pot and reappeared elsewhere throughout the fortress.

Police officers present during questioning reportedly struggled to maintain composure when hearing this portion of the testimony.

Authorities Remain Skeptical

Police have suggested the engineer may be suffering from exhaustion or hallucination brought on by overwork. Doctors have been consulted to evaluate his condition.

However, some officials admitted concern over the extraordinary precision of the diagrams he produced while in custody.

One officer, speaking anonymously, remarked:

“If this man is delusional, he is the most technically gifted lunatic we have ever encountered.”

Mr. Takamura remains under observation.

Meanwhile, residents in the surrounding wards have begun spreading rumors that the man may have glimpsed something not meant for human eyes.

Police strongly urge the public not to speculate about demons.

Mr. Takamura insists he will eventually find a lawyer willing to take the case, stating his intention to sue the demons responsible for his abduction for unpaid labour, withheld wages, and the considerable emotional trauma he claims to have suffered.

>Particularly among Gen Z, our data shows an interesting duality: they are both the group most likely to agree that women who have a successful career are more attractive to men but are simultaneously most likely to agree that a wife should always obey her husband and that a woman should never appear too self-sufficient or independent.

Incredibly stupid things are happening

I know these two things seem contradictory, but there’s nothing a conservative man loves more than to tear off an angel’s wings. There are plenty of women that would willingly choose the obedient SAHM lifestyle, but these kinds of men always seem to go for the opposite. Why? Because it’s a power play. There’s no need to break a horse that’s already broken, and that would do nothing to validate that man, his ego, and his place in a world he sees as designed for him.

Another factor is that these men avoid dating conservative women who already want the lives they want them to have because those women’s standards are too high. Specifically, such women expect to be the obedient stay at home mum, but they also expect their men to be the masculine ideal from the other half of the equation – they tend to look down on their men if they cry, they expect them to be able to financially provide for the household, they want them to uphold their end of the bargain. You see this again and again in groups of conservative men who go out of their way to date liberal women; there is a power play, to tame someone untamed and bring her into line with his expectations, but there’s also her lack of expectations of him. They want a woman who will do all the household and keep the home but ALSO will not reject him for not being able to afford to finance the family alone. They want a woman who’ll respect and obey him but ALSO be fun and relaxed and let him show whatever emotions he wants. They want the Perfect Trad Wife who won’t expect him to be the Perfect Trad Husband.

You see the same thing in conservatives who complain that all their leftie friends are abandoning them, but who won’t just hang out with right wing friends instead. They don’t want to hang out with other righties because a group of righties quickly becomes judgy and hateful and socially competitive, and is only fun to hang out with when they want to vent, whereas their leftie friends were more relaxed and fun. They want license to be unpleasant and expect unreasonable things of others, but want the people around them to be pleasant and not expect unreasonable things of them.

In my personal experience (limited by geography etc) Traditional Women believe in gender-based division of labour, and want their men, above all, to be useful and carry their weight.

They want them to work, bring money, not gamble/drink/waste it away, buy groceries (shop list provided by The Traditional Woman, because Real Men can’t be expected to understand vegetables or cleaning products), run errands, drive them and the kids around as necessary, be handy around the house, fix stuff that needs fixing, carry stuff that needs carrying, pay the bills (not just earn money for the bills, actually go and pay them), do the taxes, appear and behave appropriately in social functions, and so on.

And in return, they’re happy to do all by themselves the 2 full time jobs of housework and child-rearing, plus work. (Some don’t work and/or don’t want to work, but generally that’s not economically feasible any more unless we get to really high incomes.) To be clear, with this patriarchical arrangement the Traditional Women are getting the short end of the stick in the division of labour department, but it’s still an unspoken arrangement, an implicit give-and-take*.

So if the guy’s only asset is “misogynist prick”, and he doesn’t give anything, he only takes, well they don’t want him! What are they gonna do with him? He’s useless! They might get stuck with him if they’re unlucky, but they’re never gonna freely choose him.

[*] The above specifics are indicative. All gender-based divisions are made up of course, so perhaps elsewhere groceries are the Woman’s job, or driving the kids around falls under Child-Rearing or whatever. Doesn’t matter. What matters is the give-and-take.

Types of Flirting

  • SUBTLE: giving looks, brushing hands, little comments that could be mistaken for an innocent compliment
  • PLAYFUL: lighthearted teasing & banter, exaggerated reaction, poking fun at behaviours, playful shoves, feigned offense, “Oh, you think you’re funny, do you?”
  • SUGGESTIVE: straightforward, complimenting looks, casual physical touch, dirty jokes, expressing desire, “We could always sneak out somewhere quieter.”
  • ROMANTIC: head over heals, thoughtful gestures, blushing, classically romantic gestures (holding doors, holding an umbrella, bringing coffee in the morning), “My soul knows yours from another lifetime and calls for yours in this one too.”
  • ANXIOUS: freaking out over every text and interaction, discussing every move with their friends,
  • BOLD: direct, no subtly, relationships always labelled, “I’ve really liked being around you. Could I maybe take you on a date sometime?”
  • SHY: nervous, insecure, showing no interest until they are sure the other is interested, fidgeting, daydreaming about what could be if they had the courage to confess, using excuses to be close to them, “Um… you look really good today.”
  • CARETAKING: acts of service, protectiveness, checking in, bringing snacks, offering jacket, fixing things, walking them home, “Brought you coffee; it’s still warm.”
  • CASUAL & INTENSE: platonic flirting with no further intentions, way over the top at times, effortless, fun, teasing, maybe eventually leading to more, “You look great, please break my back and reshape my inner organs.”

OG ch 106 of Caged Lily

Here’s the original ch that was supposed to be yesterday’s chapter that i rewrote last minute give or take

Two months.

It has been two months since Nezuko was kidnapped. Much has happened in the Corps from then until now. When the news spread of what actually happened to Nezuko amongst the Hashira, there was collective guilt. They all felt bad for Nezuko in one way or another.

She didn’t deserve it, Nezuko was only 12 when it started.

But that drove some of the Hashira to try and find Nezuko or, better yet, an Upper Moon. If they could kill one, it would show Muzan just how determined they were to bring Nezuko home—at least for the Kamados. The others just wanted Muzan dead.

When Tamayo found out her heart had shattered into a million pieces and now Tanjiro understood why. She had gone through the same thing at the hands of the same man. Tamayo had regrettably been used by that bastard as well. She expressed her slight panic, especially upon hearing of the possibility that Nezuko was with child.

It was impossible she claimed.

That was until the Curse of the Ubuyashikis was explained to everyone in full detail.

That was when she knew that it was most likely true.

The Ubuyashikis’ reaction was shock and horror. He had appeared at the Butterfly mansion a week and a half after the kidnapping of Nezuko. It was for a variety of reasons that Tanjiro didn’t fully know. The main one was Aoi and Nezuko’s plight. Kagaya had gotten even better since Nezuko first met him. He fully expressed his guilt that his health came at the cost of Nezuko’s innocence. He would’ve preferred to die than have Nezuko suffer like this.

Then there was the matter of the Blue Spider Lily.

There wasn’t much fear over that. Nezuko never mentioned it once. She would most likely continue to hide that secret. That was the one benefit. The rest of this was a dreadful situation though. Kagaya had so much guilt flooding his system over all of this.

He felt that he was responsible for it all.

Responsible for Nezuko…

Responsible for Aoi…

More was discovered since that day. In the shock of all shocks, Aoi had children. Twins. She had given birth to the twins of Upper Moon One. She had fallen pregnant the week of the Final Selection. Kokushibo didn’t know. Aoi was shocked that this even happened to her to begin with. It should have been impossible. And yet it happened. The twins were now under the care of Shinobu and Aoi’s master. Tanjiro wasn’t sure what to fully think about with this whole situation. That only made him more uneasy that Nezuko was also pregnant. It was possible and that terrified him.

Then another issue arose. That was that, at least, for the Red Light demons, they weren’t there. Which in hindsight should have been expected. Kibutsuji had all the reason in the world to suspect Nezuko would betray the ranking. So he temporarily called them back.

Chances were that the siblings were back in the Red Light District but no one was sure. That is why Tengen and Hinasturu were on a mission in the District. Hinasturu wasn’t a slayer but she had her ways of helping. Tanjiro was slightly confused at that fact because he swore that Kyojuro said that Tengen had three wives. Where were the other two? He’ll ask once they meet up.

Kyojuro and Mitsuri were also not on this mission either. Kyojuro was still not fully recovered even after four months. Mitsuri was preoccupied with a separate mission. Obanai was supposed to join this one and he was going to meet them soon supposedly. Just after the others were already there.

Tanjuro was also joining. This was despite him hating Tengen now. Tanjiro had absolutely no idea what happened to cause that. But father brushed that aside for one reason and one reason only. He wanted to face an Upper Moon desperately. They were the closest thing to Kibutsuji at the moment. He wanted some form of vengeance for what the demon king had done to his daughter. The three were in a house near the outskirts of the district. Tengen was reporting on the current situation. “I haven’t heard from my wife in a few days. I’m worried about what happened to her and where she is…But that could mean that the demons are back. I just hope that she’s alive…”

The two nodded in agreement. Tanjuro was looking at the ground mainly. He avoided eye contact at all costs. It was so bewildering. They didn’t want anything to happen to Hinasturu. But that gave Tanjiro the chance to ask. “I have a question Uzui-san.”

Tengen adopted a look of interest. “What is it Tanjiro?”

Tanjiro was cautious with asking. He was hoping that he wasn’t being rude. “Don’t you have three wives? I’ve only heard of Hinasturu so far…”

Tengen adopted a relaxed form. “Oh. Kyojuro told you about that. They are all her but it is true I have been neglecting to mention the others and that is my mistake. Well technically speaking yes I am. But it’s only in name. For Makio and Suma that is. Hinatsuru… Doesn’t know that… I was asked by Makio and Suma not to tell her. They would feel bad if she learned about their situations…”

Tengen then began to look slightly more uncomfortable now. “I was forced to marry the three of them. I didn’t know any of them all that well when I first met them. They didn’t know me that well. It was an arranged marriage. I grew to truly love Hinasturu. The other two I love them but not like that. It was the same for them as well though. They had people they were more interested in than in me.”

Tanjiro raised an eyebrow. “Really?”

Tengen nodded. “Yep! We agreed to be technically married only in name but that they could pursue whoever they wanted. Hinasturu stayed with me and I honestly love her dearly. However, because of legalities, they all had to accompany me on this mission…”

“That’s interesting. So we have to help all three of them anyway. Who did your other wives end up with?”

“Don’t tell ‘em I told you! Suma is with Giyuu while Makio is with Sanemi.”

Tanjuro was the one to say something. He had his eyebrow raised. He spoke with a bitter edge to his tone. There was profound sarcasm as he spoke. “Really? I would have never expected that… You seem to be quite the standup individual after all…”

Tengen simply shrugged while chuckling with misery. “Fair… I should have expected you to say that… But whatever… We don’t talk about it! Sanemi and Giyuu are a bit shy about it! I would suggest not saying anything. Giyuu is already embarrassed enough by my teasing. Sanemi would fight if you brought it up he already did! That’s what we were fighting about when-“

Tengen stopped realizing what he was implicating. The attitude of the room shifted in an instant. Tanjiro was silent as he realized what Tengen was implying. He was referring to the day that he saw Nezuko so long ago. With the benefit of hindsight, Tanjiro was wondering what Kibutsuji had done to his sister that day. What vile behavior did he engage in? What acts did he force his sister to do? It enraged Tanjiro to no end. Tengen spoke once again. “You know looking back… And after… Um… Well… Tanjuro knows what I’m talking about. Anyway, knowing what I know now… I’m so sorry that I didn’t try to help Nezuko that day… I apologize for everything… I feel so ashamed that I didn’t even try to assist her… My thoughts as well… For that, I am truly sorry….”

Tanjuro shook his head. There appeared to be the slightest degree of reluctance in what he stated next. “I suppose I can accept that apology from you. But I cannot ever trust you for what you have stated. If you are confused my son, ask Tengen what he said during the meeting about Aoi. About when you first saw her years ago, I suppose I cant fault you for that. You didn’t know at the time. I cant hold that against you…”

Tengen seemed to be a bit relieved. But there was still a present unease in the man. What was it though? Why was he still this upset?  Tengen ran a hand through his hair as his façade of pride came down. “You know there is another reason I feel especially guilty about leaving Nezuko like that. And a reason why I feel so terrible about what I said about her… I just want you two to swear that what I tell you in this room, stays in this room.”

Father and son looked at each other in confusion. Of course, they nodded in the end. They understood that whatever it was that they were about to hear was private in nature. It was a secret Tengen didn’t want others to know but was willing to share this once.

Tengen breathed shakily as he began to explain. “My childhood…It wasn’t exactly the most pleasant…No, saying that is an understatement. It was hellish. My father…First I was one of nine children…Only I and a younger brother are left thanks to my father…He believed my clan was doomed and had us train intensely…”

Tengen gulped in grief as memories flooded in. “I…I killed some of my siblings…I didn’t mean to…I didn’t set out to…We were forced to fight to the death but didn’t know who our opponent was. It was kill or be killed…In the end, only me and my younger brother were allowed to live…”

Tengen looked away ever so slightly. “I was seen as the black sheep for a number of reasons. I was always hesitant to fight…to kill….That drew the ire of my father…He was…Well the best way to describe him I suppose is a demon wearing human skin…He was a cruel man…”

Tengen looked especially uncomfortable now. “I cannot speak concerning my other siblings’ experiences. We all had some similarities but there could have been specific things that happened individually that was different. I know what happened to me…For my repeated attempts to defy him…For my weak nature…For just existing my father he…He likes to torture me essentially…This applied to all of my siblings though. He liked to withhold food from us unless we behaved and did what he wanted in the manner he wanted. He also would go for days with locking us up alone in a room for what he saw as a slight…”

Tengen moved a hand somewhat close to his back. It was as if he were recalling the touch of something. Related to a memory most likely. “My father I know for sure did this to everyone except my younger brother. We loved to beat us with sharp objects…He would leave marks that for me still linger to this very day…Then there was the worst abuse of all…My father…He would…”

Tengen stopped speaking. It was as if he were trying to find the words to describe his experiences. When he finally landed on the proper description he refused to meet the Kamados’ gaze. Especially Tanjuro’s line of sight. “Put simply the situation with my father was similar to what Nezuko’s is…”

Father and son froze. They were shocked to hear that. Tengen….He was…He was also used by his father sexually? How…How could a man be so evil as to do that?! How despicable! Tanjuro looked especially angry. Being a father himself he wanted to strangle Tengen’s father for tormenting his son.

Tengen continued despite feeling the gaze of the two. “It started when I was…I want to say I was maybe six…It continued for many long years…It all came to a head after I was forced to kill some of my siblings…That…That messed me up…Especially since that night…That was the worst…It was the cruelest my father had ever used me…”

Tengen looked back up slightly with a forlorn look in his eyes. As if he were disassociating from the situation. “After that night…I ran away with Hinasturu, Makio, and Suma…It was also because I could see my little brother beginning to become like my father…He was perfect in my father’s eyes. The only one of all my siblings to escape any punishment. Thus he learned every method my father used from afar and could see what he perceived as benefits. I was scared that my brother would hear of my weakness and maybe do to me what my father has done for years…”

Tengen looked at the floor with an air of uncertainty. “Where is my brother today? I don’t know. He could be alive, he could not be. I…I frankly don’t care…I worry about the man he could be today it was been years since that day…As for my father, it’s the same scenario…I don’t know if he is alive…”

Tengen looked up with grief. “I do wonder if my father ever thinks about me though. Does he regret the things he’s done? Does he wish he killed me? Does he hope I’m dead? I don’t know. I don’t care either…”

Tengen hesitated for a second. And then he finally looked down. His eyes were full of grief and sadness. His voice matched that expression as he looked at Tanjuro. “That is why I want to help save your daughter…Drastically different situations. But we both suffered at the hands of men who used us for their own pleasure…I don’t want Nezuko to go through that anymore…I know how it can affect someone years down the line…I just want her to be freed of her suffering…”

Tanjiro was silent. He was horrified that Tengen had gone through all of that. And for what? No reason. No justifiable reason. But the fact that Tengen went through something somewhat similar to Nezuko?

It was no wonder he wanted to help.

Tanjuro spoke as he placed a gentle hand on Tengen’s shoulder. He was still stiff. Tanjiro could detect “I…I’m so sorry all of that happened to you…You didn’t deserve any of that…”

Tengen smiled softly. “Thanks Tanjuro…I appreciate the sentiment…But I swear that I will do everything in my power to help save your daughter. Count on it…”

Tanjiro could see that his father was touched. He genuinely appreciated the help. It was from a man that he had worked alongside.

Tanjiro felt the same way. He knew that Tengen was a good man. He had been told so by Kyojuro. Tanjiro trusted Tengen with his life. And Tanjiro wanted to return the favor. Tengen needed help in finding his wife and Tanjiro wished to find her.

He will find Hinasturu and the Upper Moons.

Count on it…

The world was on fire. That was the only way Tanjiro could describe it. The world was burning all around the charcoal-haired teen. He had been briefly knocked out and this was the first thing he saw.

It took the boy a minute to figure out what on earth was going on.

It then came back slowly piece by piece. Tanjiro had met a female demoness who was about to consume Oiran Koinatsu. Tanjiro stopped it and managed to save her. He then learned that the demon was Upper Moon 6.

A demon that Nezuko has personally met.

The second Tanjiro realized he had just blurted out. “My sister! Where is my sister?!”

The demoness was understandably taken aback in that moment. She quickly recovered once she realized who she was fighting. All she did was sigh and mutter so low that Tanjiro barely caught it. “Oh…You’re her brother…”

The thing was she didn’t seem too annoyed to hear that. She didn’t even seem to be driven. There was an air of resignation to the sash demoness. Almost as if she had given up. Resigned herself to some arbitrary fate.

What it could be Tanjiro wasn’t given the chance to ask.

As the demoness attacked right after. No matter her personal feeling she has a job to do. Tanjiro understood that. He had a job to do as well. It was a matter of no hard feelings. That didn’t mean that Tanjiro didn’t want to ask this woman for information.

Tanjiro was desperate to know what has happened to Nezuko over these last two months.

Was she ok?

Did Muzan hurt her horrifically?

Was Nezuko fighting to break free of her captivity?

Was…Was she actually pregnant?

Tanjiro was dreading the fact that his baby sister might be pregnant. He…Tanjiro could potentially be an uncle…That was horrifying to think about. Not because Nezuko having children one day was a concept Tanjiro didn’t want. It was these particular circumstances.

Nezuko was raped for two years and forced to marry her rapist. Now she is potentially pregnant because of him. It disgusted Tanjiro that Kibutsuji could and did do this. How dare he take Nezuko’s innocence in such a dastardly manner? It made Tanjiro all the more driven to kill the demon king.

The fight commenced and it was clear very quickly that Tanjiro was underprepared.

Tanjiro realized that he was in deep trouble when the demon slashed his shoulder. It wasn’t long after that when Tanjiro passed out. Yet the woman didn’t kill him. What had seemingly happened was mother had jumped in and began to fight the Upper Moon.

After Tanjiro woke up something had occurred to him.

Where was the other demon?

Nezuko said that Upper Six was two people in one unit. A brother and sister. Tanjiro has obviously seen the sister. So that left one incredibly concerning question.

Where was the brother?

Tanjiro pondered that as he dealt with his mother after her…little rampage…Tengen was handling the female demon. He was certainly trying to bait the male demon to appear. It seemingly worked as bands of what looked like sentient blood flew out of the room Tengen was in.

It was after that in which Tanjiro saw both brother and sister.

It was going to be incredibly rough fighting the two. Father was still not here. Presumably, he was dealing with something else. But what?

It didn’t matter as the fight began.

Tanjiro could see right away that they were at a massive disadvantage. They needed some sort of distraction. Tanjiro had just the idea to give the two the time they needed while waiting for father.

Tanjiro had decided to scream the one question he needed to be answered. “Where is my sister?!”

The male demon actually froze upon hearing that question. His sickly eyes widened at what Tanjiro just said. He even spoke in his state of shock. “Nezuko? Are ya…?”

He hadn’t been able to continue. Tanjuro had just joined the battle. He leaped down from the roof and tried to behead the two at once. He didn’t care for answers. Father wanted blood. He wanted vengeance against anything even minutely related to Kibutsuji.

The female demoness recognized this and shot a sash toward some nearby power lines in the nick of time.

That was what caused the explosion Tanjiro just regained consciousness from. But he had to get to his feet. They were all in grave danger! They had to fight! Otherwise, the demons will kill them all!

Tanjiro slowly rose to his knees. His body felt like lead. He was in no shape to fight much less move. But he had to persevere. For his sake.

For Nezuko’s sake…

Tanjiro looked ahead of him. Before him was the male demon nudging his sister to a door that was open. He recognized that door. Wasn’t that the one that Muzan opened to try and grab Nezuko at the train? Was Nezuko through that?

The boy had no chance to ask as the female demon was through and the way was shut. The male demon sighed and turned back towards Tanjiro. His face was neutral as can be. “Yer finally awake…”

The sickly, haggard demon began to make his way over. Tanjiro began to panic. It was now impossible to kill the demons. The woman was gone. Nezuko made it clear they had to be beheaded together or else they wouldn’t die.

So…

Was Tanjiro about to die?

The boy braced himself as the male demon stood before him. But the blow never came. Instead, the demon began to run a gangly hand through his hair. What on earth? What was this monster doing? Was he trying to be friendly?

The male demon spoke calmly. “What’s yer name?”

Tanjiro was just bewildered. He was so baffled. He did answer the inquiry though. “K-Kamado Tanjiro…”

The demon hummed slightly as he thought. He then asked in a more serious tone. “Older or younger?”

Tanjiro knew what the man was getting at. “Oldest son…”

“So yer are her older brother…”

The demon knelt down and looked right into Tanjiro’s eyes. They were filled with what only could be described as sympathy. He had no intention of killing Tanjiro it seemed? Why? The man introduced himself. “I’m Gyutaro…Ya’ve met my little sister Daki already…I know a bit about ya…”

Tanjiro gulped nervously. “Nezuko…Can you tell me anything?”

Gyutaro seemed to hesitate for a second. He was contemplative. Why? Was he thinking about what to say? How to word it? Was he allowed to speak concerning Nezuko? Was it limited?

Finally, the demon sighed. “I can tell ya a bit. Technically I’m not s’posed to. I don’t care though. I care about ya sis enough to think ya need some closure on her…”

Gyutaro shifted as he adopted a more serious gaze. “She’s as fine as can be expected. Which to ya is not at all ‘fine’ I s’pose…But I can report that she’s alive. She’s a human still…But otherwise…I think she’d rather be anywhere else…”

The boy’s blood ran cold. He was dreading what this demon, Gyutaro, was about to say. What was he about to describe? What horror was Gyutaro about to espouse?

Gyutaro shifted his eyes away from Tanjiro’s gaze. He didn’t want Tanjiro to see his gaze. He was ashamed of what he had to say. “Yer sister…She…She suffers…greatly at that…”

Tanjiro was still as he listened. Gyutaro continued. “My master…To say he was furious at Nezuko being gone for four months is a massive understatement…He punished yer sister pretty severely from what I’ve heard…I can imagine ya know what I mean when I say that…”

Tanjiro knew. He knew full well what Gyutaro meant by that. It was devastating to know that Nezuko had suffered. She had been brutally violated by Muzan. And for what? All because Muzan was mad that Nezuko wanted freedom? That she had escaped? It was infuriating.

Gyutaro kept looking away and spoke some more. “Yer sister…I’ve seen her in the two months that she’s been back. I even spoke to Upper Moon Three who has seen her far more often than I have…”

Tanjiro snapped at the statement. What does he have anything to do with this? He hurt Kyojuro so severely that he is still recovering four months later. He was the reason that Nezuko was found out to be in the care of the corps!

It was because of him that slayers died in the interrogation attempts done by Muzan and Upper One. Aoi had mentioned it. All this pain and suffering of the last two months were squarely Akaza’s fault.

Tanjiro snarled in fury. “Why did you bring him up? What does he have to do with any of this?! He’s the reason for all of this!”

Gyutaro shrugged. “In yer view perhaps. But consider this: Akaza feels guilty about yer sister being trapped with us again. Especially when he saw her at the train…I spoke to him after yer sister was brought back. He was in the midst of a mental breakdown when I saw him…”

Tanjiro frowned. He was? Upper Three really felt that bad for Nezuko? It was conflicting. Tanjiro hated Akaza but he really did feel that bad? Tanjiro supposed that Akaza didn’t go out of his way to grab Nezuko at the train.

Tanjiro admittedly was curious. “He…He really feels that bad?”

Gyutaro scratched the back of his head. He looked even more remorseful. The sickly demon seemed to be feeling guilty over something now. But what?

Gyutaro spoke again. “Yeah…It was understandable, especially considering what he saw at the train crash…”

Tanjiro’s heart sank into the pits of his stomach. He had a bad idea of what Upper Six was implying. Considering everything the corps knew about the actual circumstances of Nezuko’s captivity, it can’t be good. What was Tanjiro about to be told?

Gyutaro was cautious as he spoke. “Yer sister…At the train…Akaza saw something that he hadn’t expected to see…It should have been impossible…And yet…Akaza saw it clear as day…”

Gyutaro leaned closer. His face was grave. His motley yellow eyes were filled with seriousness. His voice was filled with concern. “Yer sister…Akaza saw an aura within her. Tiny. Strong. An impossibility amongst demons that had become a reality…”

Gyutaro was deathly serious as he spoke. His eyes glowed in a firm light. “Tanjiro…Yer sister is pregnant with my master’s baby…”

Tanjiro was frozen stiff. He was shocked to hear that. Sure it was essentially agreed upon that Nezuko was at least once pregnant. But her being pregnant now? The boy was hoping that Nezuko actually wasn’t with child. But…It seemed that she was.

No not seem…

She was…

Nezuko was pregnant with the demon king’s child…

Tanjiro wanted to cry. He wanted to scream and cry about the condition of his sister. He wanted to kill every demon in sight. They all deserved to die so Muzan suffered in any way shape or form. Muzan needed to die for what he was forcing his sister to do.

The boy did wonder one thing though. Why did this demon tell him all of this? Wouldn’t Muzan be angry at his subordinate saying these things? This was treason if anything…

Tanjiro glared in concern. “Why would you tell me all of this? Wouldn’t…I would love to say his name but I don’t want you to be killed before I get answers…Wouldn’t you know who be angry that you said all of this to me especially? Wouldn’t this be treason?”

Gyutaro waved a hand dismissively. He was confident in what he was now saying. “Oh ya can say his name. I just can’t. Anyway, why am I saying this knowing that HE would be angered? Simple. I care about yer sister.”

Gyutaro looked to the side. There was a soft look in his eyes. He seemed to be thinking of Nezuko. Did Upper Six have affection for Nezuko? “I dunno if this is considered rude to ya, but I see Nezuko as a younger sister. For the last two years, I’ve been making sure that I took care of her as best I could. Same with Akaza.”

Gyutaro looked right at Tanjiro as he continued. “I care for yer sister. I hate everything that’s happened for the last two years…I…I don’t want her to be trapped with us…I want her to be with ya…I want her to be underneath the sun…I don’t want her to be a part of the life us demons are in…”

Gyutaro tapped a finger against Tanjiro’s chest. His eyes were filled with a deathly serious look. There was a slight look of determination in his eyes though. “That is why I told ya…Ya needed closure…I wanted to give that to ya…”

Gyutaro stood up and began to walk backward. His eyes were filled with gentleness almost. He spoke one final time. “That is all I wanted to tell ya…I have no intention of killing you this time…For Nezuko’s sake…In the future, I won’t hesitate…Not now…Not this time…”

Gyutaro then suddenly leaped away and jumped up onto a blazing roof. Tanjiro watched in shock as dark flames danced where Gyutaro had just been standing. It was father. Father had been trying to kill Gyutaro. Tengen also appeared. Mother as well.

Tengen seemed to no longer be being affected by the poison that Gyutaro claimed was in Tengen’s system. Was that a result of mother’s ability? It had to be. Tanjuro looked at the demon in fury.

Gyutaro looked down at the group in sympathy. His voice was firmer now. Gone was the sympathy from before. “Nice try, trying to kill me and my precious sister. But for yer effort, I’ll leave y’all alone. I bid y’all farewell…”

With that, Gyutaro fell through a new electrically lit area that appeared out of thin air. Was that the same door that Daki had been put into? Just what was that place beyond the door? But no matter, because now Upper Six was gone.

They had failed…

Tanjuro yelled after the demon. “Get back here!”

Tanjiro yelled after his father. He could tell that he was about to run over to the burning building. “It’s no use! He’s gone…”

Tanjuro looked back with a look of despair in his eyes. Kie walked over and began to examine his body. She was deeply worried about her son. Tengen did mutter to himself. “I wonder why he left…There has to be more to him leaving…”

Tanjiro spoke in a soft, defeated manner. “There is…I know why he left us alone…”

The two men looked at Tanjiro in surprise. The men stepped closer. It was father that said something. The man’s voice was filled with dread and interest. “What did he tell you?”

Tanjiro looked down in shame. How could he ever tell his father that Nezuko was…He can’t…But he has to…All father had to know what happened to Nezuko. He also had to know why Gyutaro let them all live regardless of whatever fate he met.

Tanjiro was meek when speaking. “He left us alone because of Nezuko…He cares greatly for her…So he spared us this one time for her sake…Especially for what has happened to her…”

Father’s face turned pale. His voice was filled with slight panic. “What do you mean by that?”

Tanjiro looked down in shame. His voice was filled with regret. “Nezuko…She’s…She’s pregnant…”

Tanjuro looked faint. Tengen looked horrified. He instantly began to speak. “What?!”

The boy looked up for a moment. Tanjiro nodded but he returned to looking away. He felt so ashamed that he had failed his sister. How did father feel? He had to feel so guilty as well…

Tengen ran a hand through his hair as he began to speak. “No, no, no…That’s so bad…I know how that affects people…I had a sister who became pregnant because of my father…I know how that affected her…I mean she lost the baby due to…Uh…circumstances…But still!”

Tanjiro was disturbed. Tengen knew how this was. And if he was acting like this to the news what was it like being Nezuko? She had to be panicked as well. She had to be distraught. She had to be pleading with the gods asking why her. It was a cruel fate she didn’t deserve.

How could this have happened?

Caged Lily secret:

Hinatsuru was definitively Gyutaro’s pet. But he isnt the only demons she’s slept with. Without her fully knowing, she slept with a reasonably sized Urami. She entertained him for one of the nights that Gyutaro was out

It had been Daki’s idea. She had been a lil jealous that her brother was spending all this time with Hinatsuru. So she convinced Gyutaro to head to Kyoto. Meanwhile she got Urami to sleep with Hinatsuru on one of the days they were gone

When Gyutaro got back and realized, he made sure that Hinatsuru only smelled of him. She was still unaware that he was a demon at that point of course!

After watching the situation involving the book author of ‘Sibylline’ that contains explicit noncon, necrophilia and threesome that got targeted for fucking 12 years olds, i only think there’s people who are actually sick in the head and doesn’t deserved to get called “artists”. This is why it’s always important when you are writing graphic stuff like this it should be targeted for +16 or +18, it also counts for fanfictions if you don’t want to get in troubles 🥰

honestly tho that scene in the incredibles where mr. incredible sees the names of all the old super heroes that used to be his friends / that he knew from Back in the Day and how every one of them has been killed by syndrome is such a chilling scene for so many reasons

like for one, everyone he knew is dead at this point and has been killed on the same island he’s at now and two, its heartbreaking bc that means that almost every hero wanted to try out being a hero again despite the laws against it and wanted to try and help someone out and relive their glory days, only to be straight up murdered like fuck that scene is just so fuckin intense

allthesebees allthesebees

marisaauntmay marisaauntmay

I think the core of that scene for me is, when you’re insane like me and you go through it frame by frame, you can work out that Gazerbeam defeated the omnidroid twice - the only super we have enough information to confirm did so. I always wondered about his body in the cave, how and why he got the password… But it makes sense. This thing goes haywire, gets an upgrade, and goes haywire again? He must have been hella suspicious! So he does what any good superhero would do - tries to get to the bottom of what’s really happening on Nomanisan Island. During the process he’s clearly caught and wounded but has just enough time to get himself somewhere he can leave a final message, just praying that the next super to come along will find it and break the cycle. Gazerbeam is my hero.

Incredibles 2 has a lot to live up to

thatgirlwithanopinion thatgirlwithanopinion

All of this and…

I’m just realizing that the name is No Man Is An Island???? As in, everyone needs someone to depend on and connect with, no one is ever completely alone or should act all on their own.

Also Gazerbeam probably has X-ray vision–so he not only survived long enough to defeat the Omnidroid, he had the ability to see Syndrome entering the password.

Holy guacamole! I should pay more attention, I don’t think I got any of that stuff!

nigga-kun nigga-kun

does anyone think about the fact that now mr. incredibles has to live w/ the fact that all his friends getting killed by syndrome could have been avoided if he had just been nicer to syndrome from the beginning

^I was thinking that from the beginning reading this and was shocked it went through so many comments before anyone pointed that out.

Syndrome waited until his machine was almost ready to go before asking Bob to come to Nomanisan. He also was surprised to find out that he was married to “Elastigirl”, which means he likely built his list and went through everyone else before finally deciding it was time to kill Bob.

Also, Syndrome literally didn’t find Bob until the start of the movie. He found Frozone and was stalking him. If Lucius hadn’t hung out with Bob, then Frozone was going to be the next one lured. There’s literally a scene of Mirage realizing that the guy in the car with her target is Mr. Incredible. He wasn’t going through the list, he was stalking and finding every former Super he could, luring them to the island, and then killing them, for the sake of improving his robot. Finding Bob was just a happy accident, and Syndromes obsession with him meant that upon finding a bot that could beat Bob, he figured he’d hit perfection and was ready.

and like, let’s be real here in the intro Buddy was crossing the line the second he showed up, Mr. Incredible mentioned he’d been very nice to Buddy, via signing a ridiculous amount of autographs and doing pictures and stuff, and that he was not going to risk a childs life as a sidekick (albeit in less words). Buddy literally showed up by breaking into his car, and then stalked him all evening until he was arrested. That’s disturbingly obsessive behavior, there’s no amount of niceness that would stop Syndrome, it was an impossible situation. No amount of nice was going to appease Syndrome, the second he faced any sort of rejection from Mr. Incredible he was going to lose it and go supervillain. After his arrest he should have gotten put into therapy, but yknow, set in like. the 50′s. so it makes sense he fell through the cracks when the cracks were a goddamn canyon. Don’t victim blame Mr. Incredible.

reblogging for the last comment because blaming mr incredible for the deaths of his comrades is honestly such a weird take and i dislike how it’s framed as “fact” when it’s not. it’s syndrome’s fault and syndrome’s fault alone. full stop. he murdered them because he was selfish, entitled, and obsessed with mr incredible to a fanatical degree.

You know what’s really great

In the beginning when Mr. Incredible says, “Go home, Buddy. I work alone.” He’s holding up Bomb Voyage

In Syndrome’s flashback, he’s looking down on him, no bad guy in sight

Do with that info what you will

morskunj morskunj

oh

damn

bookish-actor bookish-actor

This is such good analysis, but it’s also worth mentioning the difference between these two scenes which, supposedly depict the same thing. In the first, Bob is clearly busy, trying to keep his eyes on Bomb Voyage (a fantastic supervillain name!!!), so he is distractedly telling Buddy that he is busy and that he doesn’t need help. The lighting is realistic, and although he is CLEARLY fed up with dealing with this obsessive and toxic fan, he keeps an even tone and doesn’t snap at him.

In the flashback, it’s a different scenario completely!! The lighting is all focused on Bob as if he’s under a spotlight and it is only the two of them. Bob’s pose here is also ridiculously condescending. He has his hands on his hips like a superhero and is looking down at Buddy with contempt and scorn. In addition, when he turns to leave, he dismissively waves his hand as if saying “Get out of here.”

It’s also interesting to note Buddy’s position here. His arms are extended either in worship or as an expression of all he has to offer in this relationship. He sees himself as a victim because he thinks he gave all of himself to Mr Incredible, just got him to reject him.

It’s also amazing to me how much Buddy’s suit is a reflection of himself. Everything from the black and white color scheme representing his black and white way of thinking, to the huge S because here only thinks of himself.

Bob’s suit, however, is blue. In addition to being associated with a calming and rational thought process, I think it’s also to represent that he’s on the side of the police. He’s not here for his own glory, he’s essentially working as an extension of the police force

Also, let’s not forget when Bob is catching Bomb Voyage and trying to keep Buddy from yeeting himself towards almost certain death, he’s on his way to his own wedding.

That makes two things abundantly clear:

Bob doesn’t have an aversion to working with other people. Remember when he runs into Elastigirl earlier in the day? She reminds him not to “forget”, and he promises he won’t. They were standing over a thief they ended up accidentally nabbing together, or so we thought. They bantered back and forth about working alone, yet they nabbed that thief so seamlessly, you’d think they’d done it before. Then you find out later, Elastigirl is the woman at the altar. Making it clear that they had to have worked together, very frequently, enough to end up trusting each other to the point that they revealed their secret identities and had a romantic relationship outside of Super work, culminating in literally marrying each other. Bob is more than fine with a partner because he married his.

The other is that, Bob is trying to protect Helen. She may be more than capable of handling herself, as she flirtatiously reminds Bob on the rooftop just hours before their nuptials. But the one thing that’s priceless to the Supers are their secret identities. With Syndrome following Bob begging to partner with him, it puts Helen in danger. A fanatical fan like that can end up possessive, meaning once Syndrome discovers her, could see her as a direct threat stealing “his” position working with Bob. And because he obviously has a knack for following people undetected (he was right on Bob’s heels all over a huge metropolitan city for literal hours), he could very well stalk Helen, discover her secret identity and expose her in order to eliminate her, putting her directly in danger. Bob isn’t an idiot, he knows working with this kid doesn’t just put this child in danger, but also his own wife and their identities. It’s better to say he works alone and let this kid down as gently as possible, hoping to finally shake him off for good so he can work in safety and peace.

Which leads me to my next point. Blaming Bob for all his friends getting killed is buying directly into Syndrome’s revisionist history of Bob “rejecting” him. Remember, if Syndrome hadn’t shown up to Mr. Incredible busting Bomb Voyage, none of the ensuing chaos with the bomb on the rocket boots getting dropped on the train tracks and blowing them up, causing Bob to lose Bomb Voyage, then forced to stop a speeding train, resulting in the passengers getting injured, the attempted suicide being thwarted which injured the guy, and everybody suing Bob for it, ultimately culminating in the Super’s fall from public grace and forced retirement. All of those consequences are because Syndrome refused to listen to Bob and meddled in dangerous affairs, making everything indescribably worse. If he had never showed up, none of the above would have happened and Supers would have never been forced into retirement, meaning none of Bob’s friends would have been lured from said retirement by Mirage and Syndrome’s private contract offers which resulted in their deaths.

johnpleasedontrejoinrhcp johnpleasedontrejoinrhcp

this post got SO much longer AND better

Not sure if this matters by now but

A couple of things:

- The reason Syndrome found all the other supers first (including Frozone) was because Bob kept getting fired from his jobs, forcing the government to wipe his existence from multiple companies and forcing his family to move each time that happened. He unintentionally saved his family by forcing them to relocate so often.

- Two of the biggest differences between the two versions of “go home, Buddy” is the focus, and length. In Mr Incredible’s version, “Go Home, Buddy” is a midpoint, a random event that just happened to stick because it was weirdly specific, and it was right before the important parts. The attempted suicide, train crash, and wedding are much more important because those were more important to Mr Incredible (since the first two ended the superhero movement, and the last was his wedding). Buddy, on the other hand, only flashes back to “Go home, Buddy”. Which is weird because Buddy almost died later that night from a bomb on his cape, and he almost killed dozens of people on a train by dropping a bomb on them, and because of that, he was indirectly responsible for the death of supers. All three of those things should be much more important to Buddy, but it’s a sign of his psychosis that the one thing he remembers is not Mr Incredible saving his life, or his life being in danger, but instead Mr Incredible rejecting him. Buddy was unstable, and an extremely unreliable narrator who edited out massive chunks of his own story to better justify his hero syndrome.

- Also, on a more sobering note, some have brought up how Incredibles 2 seems a step down from Incredibles 1, and while that’s arguable, there’s some related bits in there I’d like to mention. You know how there were a slew of superhero’s in the movie for when they made superhero-ing legal again?

Notice anything funny about that lineup? Anything at all? Okay, here’s a hint then. How many of these heroes were working before heroes got banned? How many of these new heroes are from Mr Incredible’s era?

Answer: None.

Frozone, Elastigirl, and Mr Incredible are the only ones who were active before the ban, or more specifically, were left from those active before the ban.

Think about it, Elastigirl was on the news basically continuously, there was a UN declaration on supers, any super left who had even been five degrees of separation away from Elastigirl back in their heyday would’ve come up to talk to her and her movement. But when Elastigirl was brought in to meet other supers, she didn’t know any of them.

And it’s not like she and Bob were loners who never interacted with anyone, look at their wedding day, it’s packed to the gills with capes (and possibly some secret identities too):

So…what happened?

Syndrome happened. This isn’t just some serial killer picking people at random, Syndrome systematically wiped out an entire community of people, arguably, an entire generation of supers, since Violet, Dash, and Jack-Jack seem to be the only kid-supers in existence.

That’s why Elastigirl is so emotional when she’s introduced to these new supers, she thought her people, barring her family and Frozone, were wiped out by Syndrome. And in a way…they were.

Nobody’s left from her era of superheroics. None of her old friends survived. It’s just her, Bob, and Frozone left out of what was once a thriving, vibrant community. All those bright lights snuffed out because some kid couldn’t handle being rejected but his hero.

- Honestly, this allegory kind of brings to mind the AIDS crisis and the gay community. A “syndrome” almost specifically targeting a subset of the population with a flair for dramatic outfits and superheroics, picking off members one by one until the population is decimated. The members of the community have to intervene themselves to slow/stop this “syndrome” because the government, which was supposed to protect them, is unaware of, or is blatantly ignoring the crisis until it starts hurting the “normal” community. Because of this “syndrome” there’s just this gap in this community, where an entire generation is just…missing…with the few survivors having to counsel the new, untouched generation, and helping them achieve widespread support and acceptance they could only dream of.

- Side note: I just realized something. Take a look at Syndrome’s kill list:

And take a look at that wedding shot again.

Anyone look familiar?

If it’s to hard to tell, at least four of the people Syndrome killed were at Bob’s wedding.

Mr Incredible wasn’t watching supers getting killed, he was watching his friends getting killed. People he trusted enough to share his secret identity with people he trusted enough to share his wife’s secret identity with. Hell, our poor boy Gazerbeam got a front row seat with Edna and their NSA agent that’s usually reserved for family only.

And that’s bad enough, but something else occurred to me, Bob and Helen clearly haven’t been keeping in close contact with their superheroic friends, Bob asks Frozone if he’s been keeping in contact with Gazerbeam, implying they haven’t talked in a while.

Additionally, Bob’s life, and the superhero community’s life, went tits up basically immediately after his wedding night. So if there was any point for them to stop talking with other supers, it’d be then.

So what does that mean?

It means, in all likelihood that when Mr Incredible looked at that list of dead friends and superheroes, he realized with growing horror that, his wedding?

The happiest point of his life?

That was the last time Mr Incredible saw his friends alive.

Also like to point out that in the scene where he’s seeing all of his friend’s and their identities exposed and that they’ve been killed, he IMMEDIATELY in shock and horror realizes that elastagirl could be a target and SEARCHES her super identity. The relief on his face when he sees that she’s unknown is honestly so raw. Incredibles, both of them, are just absolutely stunning films.

i just love how everyone’s thinking so real about this, when usually other people will tell you “its just a cartoon” or an “animated movie” but, like, its way more than that only if youre willing to look. i think this shows great deal about how people (who have commented on this) approach their life bc if theyre willing to look beyond what is shown to them, esp if its “meaningless animated character”, then you can practically see how these people look at their loved ones. they see everything and what might to others seem like a meaningless detail, well, they understand its not, and honestly, someone searching for a meaning behind something seemingly small is a Very Big Thing

This is important please read!

Never did I think I would read such an in depth, passionate, well thought out analysis of The Incredibles but, boy, am I glad I did.

If you scrolled past this cause it was too long, GO BACK UP and read!

This was amazing.

Gonna go rewatch The Incredibles now!

First to go would be the demon slayer corps, all of them so less than 1000 people give or take

Muzan would absolutely kill everyone in a town if she was killed there. He’d avoid a large city knowing thatd be too conspicuous. But he’d kill everyone in smaller towns and villages in the area where Nezuko died

So at the very least give or take his death toll would be 5000 civilians (corps are a separate statistic) at maximum i’d say
