One of my favourite things about the kiss was Qin initiating it. Because no matter how big of a flirt Duang is, he would never cross that line unless and until he is one hundred percent sure that Qin wants it too. And what better way to show him that than kissing him yourself?

And once Qin kisses him, he takes a step back and allows Duang to take the lead. Because he knows Duang has been craving this for a long, long time now. He lets Duang hold him, grab him, caress him, bite him, kiss him the way he wants to.

And then he rewards his puppy boy for a job well done by calling him the one thing he’s been dying to be since he first laid eyes on Qin.

Because the way Qin turned Duang into a whimpering, breathless mess has to be studied. He knows he has his puppy boy wrapped around his finger and that Duang would do anything he asks him to. So, the first thing he asks of him is to be patient. Because good things come to those who wait.

He calls Duang a good boy when he bites him. Of course he does! Of course he liked it. Duang may have been surprised with himself when he bit him but Qin did not let him rethink his actions. He immediately lets hDuang know that he enjoyed it and drags him into bedroom to show him just how much. And honestly, who would not worship the ground he walks on?

This is the face of a man who has just seen God! He has ascended to heaven. There’s nowhere else he’d rather be. He has his God in front of him, so of course, he’s gonna get down on his kneesand pray at the altar.

May I just say that I love the message of this show so damn much.

You don’t have to be the best. You cared and that’s enough.

You don’t have to be the best. You’re good the way you are, in your own way.

It acknowledges that you are not always going to do the best, or even well, and that’s okay. There will still be people who love you the way you are and value you for the things you can do well.

You don’t have to exhaust yourself by pushing yourself too hard. It’s enough to simply do your best. It’s okay to fail and fall - the people who care about you will be right there with you to help you back up. And sometimes simply doing your best is more than enough to do well.

My Romance Scammer would feel like an exceptionally mature work in pretty much any media context. It’s rare for a work of art to trust its audience enough to explore the very real ties between finances and love so thoroughly.

It’s rare for any romance to trust its audience this deeply, and even rarer in a BL. The show lets us love Pai for his softness while still questioning his choices as a CEO and as someone in love. That emotional tension feels intentional, not accidental, and that’s what makes it so compelling. The fact that we can root for Pai’s heart and still worry about his judgment is exactly why this works. It doesn’t simplify him but also lets him be tender, flawed, and human all at once. That’s trust.

Maybe it’s the lighting. Maybe it’s the makeup. Or maybe it’s just how exceptional Junior is with his acting. Because you can’t deny that his expressions changed from the beginning of the episode to the moment he admitted his feelings for Pai out loud.

The shift is microscopic, but you can literally see the moment Tim stops protecting himself and starts feeling.

I think this is the first time I’ve been watching every single show. Not a single heterosexual in sight.

When they ask why I’m watching a messy show I swore I wouldn’t, and I can’t exactly say ‘Boom’s red shirt,’ I just say I enjoy layered storytelling.

idk hate on gmmtv all u want but them bringing back an OG couple from a 5yr hiatus to cast them in an extremely risky remake of a show that’s highly critically acclaimed, fighting copyright issues for over a year, getting a ban on youtube, STILL releasing the show on live tv with subtitles and THEN end up making the adaption better than the original, fixing the messed up side couple, giving all 3 couples healthy and loving relationships, a proper development with good pacing, not cursing the 11th episode with dumb drama AND making karan and achi the first gay couple to have a wedding on a gmmtv show is highkey iconic say what u want-

A part of me thinks Tim already knows it. That’s the worst part. I think he knows exactly what Pai is offering. He sees the sacrifice. He feels the weight of it. He understands that kind of love does not grow on trees, it is once-in-a-lifetime, comet-through-the-sky rare.

And maybe that’s what scares him. Because accepting that kind of love means being brave enough to deserve it. It means stepping up. It means choosing someone who chose you against the entire world.

So yes, I swear his redemption arc better be worth every single penny. I need growth. I need remorse. I need the kind of realization that hits him at 3 a.m. and doesn’t let him sleep. I need grand gestures, cracked pride, and a man who finally understands that he almost let go of the one person who would have burned down an empire just to keep him warm.

No half-baked apology. No casual “my bad.” If he’s going to fumble a love like that, he better earn it back in a way that leaves no doubt.

Idk why it reminded me of this

I don’t know how Tim is going to act once the truth explodes, but the way these two switch into full brooding older-brother mode around Yu and North? I’m obsessed. The crossed arms, the silent judgment. It is giving ‘will tolerate you, but just barely’ energy and I LOVE IT!!

Especially Tim. He usually stays out of Pai’s matters, but the moment Yu is involved, everything shifts. I love watching him quietly step into that elder-brother role for Yu. And even though it’s all part of the scam, the way these two lean on each other through it? That quiet, unspoken reliance? I love that too.

They’re making us fall for them so hard that the heartbreak is going to hurt like hell!!!

One thing about me: I will never, in a million years, blame Pai for falling for Tim’s scams.

I know I would’ve fallen for it too.
