((I do have to preface this, with a major thanks. All you alien-centric blogs, interacting with me, a guy being an asshole on the Internet. Thank you.

((This blog, while it’s probably just been maybe a minor laugh for you guys, has genuinely impacted my relationship with my own connection to the people around me, and my relationship with discrimination and community.

((When I was a kid, I got bullied. A lot. Simply for the crime of not looking like the general population of the country which I lived in. I remember one moment that really stands out to me now, in which some kids were taunting me, calling me a Martian, saying I’ll never fit in, so on and so forth. I snapped, plain and simple, and beat them up.

((For a long time, I was angry. I hated people. Everyone. That little ember of hatred was always burning inside of me, driving me forward, my life built on the act of living out of spite. I was not happy.

((But then, this blog. In my apathy, I made it as a joke, a simple amusement, intending to only use it to mess with people for a little bit, then abandon and deactivate it. But then people interacted with me, and I settled in for the long haul.

((My character at first was a parody of the typical anti-immigration MAGA guy, but against all and any aliens, being absolutely pro human, no matter their circumstances or personality or race or religion. This is the character trait that I started thinking on after getting out of character. I put myself in the place of absolute adoration of the human race, and found myself.

((there is so much love and hate in the world. personally, i have been all over, having seen some of both the best and the worst circumstances that a human can be found in. I’ve been a model, a farmhand, a food service worker, a dishwasher, a cook, a student, an actor, on tech support, and many other things. It’s been a strange journey, but I’ve seen a lot in my short time.

((everywhere I’ve been, there’s been both love, and hate/apathy. A mother and her child, crossing the street, speeding up to avoid the old man yelling at them. the pair of friends giggling and trying to order the food that they can afford, getting nasty looks from the karen behind them ordering the exact same item for the 50th time with the same snotty expression on her face. the model and his dresser, both exhausted, trying to get the last couple outfits done so they can go home, and the angry director who thought this photoshoot would have ended an hour ago.

((it’s all of these moments that make us human, and make us beautiful, and running this blog, even through my infrequent posts, has helped me replace that hatred in my heart with love for everyone.

((and for that i would like to thank all of you, people who have asked me questions and people who have interacted with me. I am much happier now, and without anybody listening to my “hateful” ramblings, I don’t think I would have found myself again.
