Summary:
In the fall of 2007, a star collegiate hockey player and an injured teenage prospect turned music major and school radio station host fall in love. It takes them a long time to find each other, but it’s worth it.
When Will Smith injured his knee halfway through his first year in the USNTDP he thought he’d never have passion for anything again, that was until he found music, and realized that even when your body isn’t useful anymore, your mind can be beautiful. Now he’s majoring in music at Boston University and running the school’s student radio station.
Macklin Celebrini is exited to play at BU with Aiden, even if he could’ve gone straight to the NHL. BU hockey has been terrible for the last decade, and they want him to come in and save the whole program. He’ll do it, of course, but he can’t help but feel a little bitter about it. He does his best to blend in with the rest of his team as he learns the ropes of collegiate hockey.
