She did not have the strength to fight as Wanderer ran with her. For a moment, she was all the doom that caused misery and pain to her family, and it was better if she were gone. But her family knelt there, searching for her, grieving and worrying. Doom? They had faced the [Witch] of legends for her. What was mere doom?

Day 23 (pt2)– Wer (2013)– An American expatriate lawyer in France is tasked with defending a bestial looking man accused of mutilating a vacationing family.

An interesting take on the werewolf film, with found footage styling and some genuine brutality and tension. It didn’t blow my mind, but it was certainly a decent watch.

I also think there should be a Women’s Elite Rugby fantasy league, but I understand this more niche than even women’s hockey

Hello Rugby World Cup 2035 fans and potential fans!

Day one is essentially upon us and I finally had time to and did some basic research, thus I am sharing it with you.

For anyone unfamiliar with Rugby, that’s okay, this is my first big international competition too and I only just started to watch Women’s Elite Rugby for their inaugural season.

Intentional tournaments like this are played as 15s which means each team will have 15 players on the field and have 40 minute halves. There’s little water breaks at 20 minutes and 60 minutes.

There are 16 countries who have qualified to be in the cup this year. This is broken down into 4 different pools. In the pool each 4 teams will play each other, and the two teams with the most points will move onto the next round. 1st place teams will play second place teams, and the winner of those matches will go to the. Next round. With only four teams left the two winning teams will play for the gold and silver medal and the two loosing teams will play for the bronze medal.

Easy right?

So which countries are competing?

Pool A

England

United States of America

Australia

Samoa

Pool B

Canada

Scotland

Wales

Fiji

Pool C

New Zealand

Ireland

Japan

Spain

Pool D

France

Italy

South Africa

Brazil

The Tournament will last from Friday August 22nd to Friday September 19th. All games will happen on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.

This year the cup is being held in England. Which means everything will be on England’s time schedule. So make sure you compare your time zone with England’s time zone.

Where can you watch Rugby? Well that depends on where you are and what company bought broadcasting rights. This link has a map that shows which service you can get it off of for your country.

For anyone who plans to us a VPN to get access to one service or another, a reminder that the UK added verification laws to the internet and your VPN may not offer those countries anymore. Please contact your local representative to tell them you don’t want internet verification laws and see what path your country is on!

The United States is playing England 9:30 AM England time, which is 2:30 est.

I’m not sure what tag I will use to live blog. If you have any suggestions let me know!

And you may ask yourself where can you learn more about this tournament and rugby in general?

1. National teams’/ players’ social medias

2. Select social media that covers women’s rugby

3. Rugby league/rugby teams who are showing off their players.

4. World Rugby

5. Rugby World Cup .com or their app (it’s a really good app [possible access to gambling])

6. Reddit r/RugbyWorldCup

7. Discord Groups/ other social media groups

And of course I’ll do my best to put updates here on this blog.

Have questions? Have experiences you want to share? Did I get something wrong? Let me know!

This weird liberal performativeness where it’s like “we’re committed to supporting the lgbtq community! Like we let nonbinary people on our team! Obviously they have to be AFAB and we would never let trans women in here and we also welcome bigots in here with open arms, but yay thirty percent of the players are gay!” makes me sick. I really really wish we could do better and I wish i could have hope for the future but every passing article on banning trans women from sports just pisses me off even more.

I feel so bad for the nonbinary players on these teams too, because it’s probably some of the only chances they have of playing professionally, but the way they’re talked about some times you can see that a huge chunk of people see them as women.
