i started watching/reading horror to explore those big questions, “how far will you go for x” “what are you willing to forgive or justify in order to maintain your worldview” “what if ghosts are the trauma we’ve endured along the way”
but i keep running into horror which asks more simple questions: “what if there was a scary witch”
