Recently I’ve been fantasizing about a relationship with someone who doesn’t care about me. Like someone who absolutely fucking despises me. I’m just imagining myself wrapped around their waist and they’re punching me on the head repeatedly and I’m bleeding but still drooling, “Hehehehe” as I pass out
I can’t handle someone liking me. I can feel my ribs and my heart and it hurts I hate it I hate it I hate it so as long as they hate me I can love them without my heart hurting as much. Downside is sometimes I like it when my heart hurts a little bit so them just fullblown hating me would get me kinda depressed so as a compromise they’d have to have an underlying affection towards me that they show occasionally and then I could handle the heart hurt and everything would be good
I tend to idealize the traits of being logical, unempathetic, cold, unfeeling, etc as superior for reasons. that I could make a whole nother post for. Anyways by extension I believe that people who exhibit those traits are superior/intelligent and I attach myself to people I believe are superior/intelligent because that makes me superior/intelligent by proxy. But oftentimes I get a feeling of imposter syndrome in that group of superior/intelligent people and place myself in a submissive role, since superior people deserve someone who treats them rightfully as superior. If they hurt me who am I to judge them? If they need a punching bag, I am happy to provide! Obviously they deserve to have whatever they want. Sure, I may not like it but it’s whats fair. Just as long as they give me a liiiittle bit of a salary for my troubles. That’s all I need.
I wish I could just be affectionate to someone without feeling watched and having my heart hurt when theyre affectionate back thatd be so tuff
Thank you Jana Brejchová for dying I guess so that I got reminded to watch Vyšší princip again

THIS IS NOT ENOOUGH
THIS IS NOT ENOUGHHHH
soo i watched the housemaid (2025) and gosh amanda seyfried needs an golden globe nowwww
the best part of this one is amanda seyfried. other people are just…there.
[[MORE]]in the beginning it was a little typical movie with gratuitous scenes for men to stare at #that lady. which it is….but gosh like amanda seyfried steals the show like no other!! the switch the cracks you see all of it is just perfection shes so good really made up for the other stuff
tw. spoilers:
soo turns out amanda’s character has been purposefully acting this way and sending the housemaid into his arms so he leaves her alone and she can finally escape this psychopath (which like, i had a hunch my girl amanda wouldnt let me down, its like, really good acting on her part).
that scene where she writes a ‘letter’ to cece is just, sooo captivating i was HOOKED. (is the 'format’ of this voiceover less than perfect, yes but still soo good amanda steals the show!!)
the part after back on that lady is fine i like her plot and what she does but ngl those scenes just arent that captivating i think bc the acting just….isnt that good. not that believable. i found myself wishing to see amanda again.
the end was good tho! i loved the woman interviewing amanda like her being kathy’s sister ohh good stuff. i wonder if his mother would be in the new one still somehow (? they had that dialogue w her for seemingly no reason…). i also liked the ending, that she came 'highly recommended’ and then you see that new womans poor wrist :(
they were admittedly a little heavy handed with the hair stuff imo….almost felt like they didnt expect the audience to pay attention the first time so kept saying it repeatedly (except the repetition didnt seem to go…deeper? so why just reiterate, unless you really think people wouldnt be paying attention)
also some of the 'erotic’ psychological thriller part also felt…lame. boring. just an excuse to have that lady in various states of undress for men to gawk at but move tf on already its boring, sloppy, poor writing and pacing. lowkey took away from the films momentum imo. maybe thats also bc those scenes are bad acting? idk
also reg. that whole “man stealing” part of the plot…too long, annoying, doesnt add anything, dilutes the momentum.
however, w that plot i totally see why the movie did well, im glad it did!! women need these types of films. still, idk if ill really wanna watch the next one, if itll do well – it will depend pretty heavily on who the new cast is.
the 'repeating’ characters (#that housemaid lady and fckin groundskeeper, whos the italian mafia netflix film from a couple years ago guy) are not strong performances (maybe for groundskeeper he just didnt have much screentime so idrk). not enough to captivate.
BUT – im so excited for the sequel plot!! im tempted to read the second book but again if its too heavy on #certain stuff id rather skim :/ bc to me that combination doesnt work well with the pacing (at least it didnt with the movie) and kinda puts me in a different mood than im in with the thriller. i enjoy the thriller mood, dont really wanna go elsewhere unless its for good reason, yk?
i reallyyyy love amanda in this shes stellar. #imo for the series to be as good as this one (it might still do well ofc, bc hype) it needs to have a strong performance like amanda’s in the next one. anything less and itll fall flat
