vim’s documentation is genuinely one of the greatest ive ever seen. it’s strangely searchable! i was trying to remember how to do line continuations, and so i did `:help line-’, and it autocompleted to exactly what i was looking for.

echo ’#!/usr/bin/perl -w’ > hello.pl && sed -zri -e ‘1s,(#!/(.)(.)(.)/.(.)./.(.)(.). ..),\1\n\2\3\6 \3t\4\5ct;,’ -e '1,2s,(#!/.{2}(.)/.(.)(.)/(.)(.).(.) .(.))\n(.{3} .{6};),\1\n\9\np\2\3\4t “h\6\7\7o \8o\2\7d\n”;,’ hello.pl && echo && cat hello.pl && echo && perl hello.pl
vim is so silly idk like hjkl for moving around? sure idc i use those for attacking in video games but ig it’s working
why did i try out vim? idk it seems like fun
I feel like I have failed as a software dev every time I have to Google how to exit vim 😞
we often hear people saying to use VIM or to use Emacs and get into all these pointless arguments that only waste precious time that you could be spending on your projects.
So i have decided that ALL editors are too bloated.
The solution you ask?

Here you go. Just use the echo and a shell
Any and all questions you may have you can either put in my asks box.
Or you write down your question/feedback on a piece of paper, fold it up into a paper aeroplane as specified and record yourself throwing it off of the highest space you have access to.
Then of course send me the video else i wont know to look for it..
It’s a natural attraction. Like the pull of two similar energies. Super chaotic though. Usually gets toxic pretty fast too.
I couldn’t even tell you why!
Maybe because I like to pick fights when I’m bored?
