वेद कोई किताबें नहीं हैं। कुछ गिने-चुने ग्रंथों को ही वेद मत मान लीजियेगा । जिन ग्रंथों को हम वेद कहते हैं, वे दरअसल वेदों के उदाहरण मात्र हैं – और हां, वे भी वेद ही हैं।
“विद्” धातु का अर्थ होता है – जानना।
जानना यानी बोध।
और बोध ही आत्मा है।
इसलिए वेद = आत्मा है।
आत्मा जिस भी रूप में खुद को प्रकट करेगी, वह रूप वेद कहलाएगा।
आज जो वेद परंपरागत रूप से जाने जाते हैं, वे दरअसल एक शांत, स्थिर और बोध से भरे मन की अभिव्यक्तियाँ हैं। क्योंकि ये बोधयुक्त मन से उपजे हैं, इसलिए इन्हें ‘अपौरुषेय’ यानी किसी इंसान द्वारा रचे न मानना उचित है।
लेकिन ये वेद अंतिम अभिव्यक्तियाँ नहीं हैं।
जब भी आत्मा बोलेगी, वेद ही बोलेगी।
जब मन पूरी तरह शांत और निर्मल होता है, तब जो शब्द निकलेगा, जो कर्म प्रकट होगा – वह वेद होगा।
पर ध्यान रहे – जब हम कहते हैं “शांत मन”, “स्थिर मन”, “निर्मल मन”, तो इसका मतलब है शून्य मन।
मन तब ही शांत हो सकता है जब वह खुद को पूरी तरह समर्पित कर दे।
अगर कोई ये सोच रहा है कि मन को बचा कर भी उसे शांति मिल जाएगी – तो वो भ्रम में है।
अगर कोई ये मान रहा है कि बिना पूरा मूल्य चुकाए स्थिरता मिल जाएगी – तो वो भी धोखे में है।
कुछ चीजों की “होम डिलीवरी” नहीं होती।
उन्हें पाने के लिए स्वयं जाना पड़ता है,
आत्मोत्सर्ग करना पड़ता है – यानी खुद को पूरी तरह समर्पित करना पड़ता है।

In Ved’s mind, he was just doing his job by protecting his godkid, but after getting hugged (a form of affection not really used by anti-fairies, so sort of foreign to him) Ved realizes that he had actually never felt that specific kind of anger before, that sort of parental protective instinct, and he’s not sure how to deal with the realization that he is apparently capable of developing this sort of attachment to what was originally just a means to an end.
This is the face of an anti-fairy who just got hit with a lethal wave of “damn…. I need to call My DAD…” (though he probably doesn’t because Elad would most certainly hold him hostage on the phone for like an hour 😂😂)
