it’s finally march!! it is our first color pairing in the color challenge so i’m really excited to see what you all come up with. as always the interpretation of the colors, theme, and challenge are up to you. now not every creation needs to be completely black and white, a pop of color is always welcome in the color challenge!! cinematography is a rather broad category for a theme but this is a way we can celebrate the art with our own art. we’ve all seen those sets that celebrate a film or show’s use of angles, lighting, lens focus, etc. let’s see what strikes your creative side with something newly watched or watched multiple times, whatever hits your inspiration!!

The color pink is often associated with nurturing and love. It is believed to have a calming effect. Lighter shades of pink are often seen as soothing and comforting, while brighter pinks can be stimulating and energetic. However, too much pink can be overwhelming and may come across as overly sweet or naive.

it’s time for february! the color and theme for february are very on the nose for one of the holidays that happens this month but that’s where you can be creative. there is a lot to be done with the color pink. the theme of love & hate is one of my favorites because it isn’t always romantic and it isn’t always cut and dry. show some love(or hate) to platonic or familial dynamics. show off your favorites like little valentine’s day cards. or be completely anti-valentine’s. whatever you want, just have fun with it!! can’t wait to see what you come up with.
