one of the spots me and my friend have started going to!!! bottom photos (+video) from the first time we went, top from the second. research reveals that it used to be an old factory of some sort. theres a couple warehouses and the tower is an incinerator apparently, also there’s a mill nearby which we haven’t visited yet. it was built in 1914 and was shutdown in either the 60s or 90s iirc. theres a chance it’ll be demolished soon which is why i’m glad we’re going before that happens. but yeah it was really cool + absolutely massive – me and my friend are going again tomorrow to visit because we’ve barely explored any of it yet, so that’ll be fun. there are motion sensors there though so . that may possibly be an issue buuut it’ll be fine

I love this church because it actually still had the paintings and just under it, there are punk tags ( please correct me kindly if I’m wrong about punk please TvT ) ( and I’ll try to post a pic of it cuz I didn’t take a pic of it I forgot ^^’ )

it has such a vibe and I absolutely adore going in here.

Fort de la Chartreuse, Belgium

This site is an abandoned Military fort and barracks, the main part of which was built in 1817 and saw a very varied history, including during both WW1 and WW2, until it’s abandonment in 1988.

The level of decay in the oldest buildings is severe and it will only decline more rapidly due to the portions of roof collapse.

Shot on Nikon d700 by me :)

3/6/25-Fort Macomb about an hour east of New Orleans. This is a old fort built around the 1800’s i believe, this specific fort guarded lake ponchatrain from the gulf. I took all of these with my shitty old digital camera which is now broken.
