Here’s a question:
If Top Hat is now a steam engine, would be a galloping sausage just like Gordon?
If so? What type of sausage?

Also let me know if you want more of these in the future or leave down some other things these creatures would do
Onto the info now!! :3 (also, tw for mentions of abuse/child abuse)
[[MORE]]- In human-form, their extremely hot inner heat (I.e. from fireboxes and radiators) are insulated from the human-form’s materials( or “squishiness”); making them feel more like a heated blanket or a warm pillow than being burning hot to touch.
- it’s extremely important that they’re are taught to be careful around humans and other creatures because of locoshifters extreme difference in strength and speed compared to humans and (most) other animals. It’s ingrained into them about the fragility of creatures that are not locoshifters, and are taught to never HIT ANY HUMAN OR ANIMAL, no matter how “light” you do it… but you’ll also get hypocritical humans who teach this while using their authority to abuse “discipline” locoshifters because they have an advantage of not getting hurt or killed by them as their authorian-figure.
- This also has locoshifters confused on certain aspects of human society. Human are fragile and therefore children are much more fragile… but then you have parents or other adult figures hitting (i.e. slapping, spanking, hitting with rods/belts) children? Some don’t intervene unless it’s actually seriously putting the kid in danger because it’s the cultural norms (think of it like how older generations grew up with the beliefs of “discipline”) but there also some surprising times we’re a locoshifter can’t stand any type of hitting or “discipline” (i. e. Sam gets incredibly anxious, scared and irrated when the mention of belts or hitting people gets involved)
- Locoshifters only have one partner for life because back in ancient times, it was easier and more evolutionary convenient to raise babies with both parents.
- They’re also social creatures but can still also be extroverted, introverted, and ambiverted.
- In the ancient times, veseli would live in a family, group, pack or whatever you called it that would consist of family (biological or found) and friends. After the ancient times and into the industrial eras and modern era, locoshifters formed groups with their siblings or cousins.
- they make variety of noises besides talking and blowing their horns or whistles but to keep it short. Steam shifters chuff (like a tiger), Diesel engines purr, and electric usually don’t have any of those so they just go with the default chirping.
- despite their animalistic behaviors, they do share the same sentience and sapientence as humans, and can make decisions like humans do.

Ivo Hugh following Rheneas around like a little shadow in his early years is so dear to me.

Expect for us switch users (I plan on getting the PS5 physical version when I can find a stable job but one of my friends is getting it for me on switch)
Humanised Lexi

Ok, she looks all broken and mentally insane, but she’s actually the most sane experimental. Her eyes were always like that. Also she can just twist and turn her limbs and body in any way she wants.

Welcome Fern!
Fern is a Furness Railway L4/94 class, during withdrawals of the older Furness stock by the LMS, her and Ness made their way to sodor and hid around various places on the island, doing work and keeping things tidy as to not get called out, eventually the two are found out, but after enquiring the other railway about the two, it turns out they just wrote them off. so the NWR ended up able to keep the two for scrap value and they have worked on the island ever since!
Fern isn’t the youngest engine, she, similar to Edward, clanks and squeaks. But this doesn’t damper her spirits! for her age she get along with most of the smaller engines, but has a tendency to spook others by accident because she unknowingly sneaks around but she also uses this to keep the bigger engines at bay when they start getting too big for their buffer!

Tumblr gets to see this first, during the process I came up with a refined take on the character and a story associated with this illustration, so I’ll go write that after I sleep.

Hello Tumblr!
Если честно я не очень классно рисую, но хотела бы поделиться своим опытом с вами, сегодня быстро нарисовала Томаса на этой картинке, как по мне выглядит классно
a couple of mimic hunters looking into a nest without checking if mama was still home
i had another part of this animation where at the end of the black out, pearl wakes up in her shed and franticly looks around at the hearing of yapping and yips, only to see it just Thomas and Percy playing around and no real danger.
i like to think that pearl stays in services size almost all the time, she doesn’t like people all that much, they did terrible things. they almost harmed her babies. (the glowing eyes you see in the ceiling is them btw) ( the lil blobs Make me cry )
I want to do ttte content again but then it’s just me wanting to put horror stuff in the middle so idk

Interesting pairing.
note; Phillip’s hat is a traditional Filipino cap from the Maguindanao province.

Lady pearl is more like a snow leopard in terms of body shape I would say.

[1976]
Emily brought the Saloon Coaches to the platform. As she waited, she saw Toby sorting trucks nearby.
“Good morning, Toby!” She called out. “I see they’ve got you sorting trains out here?”
“Sure am.” Toby smiled.
“How are you liking the change of pace? New environment and all.”
“I wouldn’t exactly call it new, though I certainly haven’t worked in a harbour like this in years.”
“You’ve worked in a harbour before?”
“Yes, back in Yarmouth - before the tramway where I met Henrietta. I remember it being a lot less demanding, but then I also remember being a lot younger and more full of energy than I am now.”
Emily chuckled. “Time has its way of doing that - even with us engines sometimes.”
“That, and Henrietta certainly helped rein me in. I don’t know where I’d be without her.”
“So how’ve you been?” Toby asked. “I see you won the Saloons?”
“Yes,” the emerald engine smiled, “it is nice to run a special excursion again - although I’ve never run a special train with only two coaches.”
Toby chuckled. “That’s fair. I don’t think a train of only two coaches counts as an express.”
“Oh, certainly not.” Emily agreed. “Though this is more of a unique charter, and I imagine the load is kept light for engines that might not be able to take entire consists down the main line in one go.”
“Probably. So I take it you ran excursions a lot in your day?”
“Towards the end of my working life on the mainland, yes.” Emily smiled, no doubt a fond memory. “I imagine they weren’t quite ready to do away with the coaches we used to pull, even with the new ones having been built.”
“Ah.”
“I do remember being invited to run excursions under a private owner, but I chose here instead. I’d rather pull regular trains than only be allowed out for specials.”
“Mm.” Toby agreed. “I can’t imagine a life like that. Although, I’m sure some engines around here would get a little too used to it.”
Emily chuckled, catching on immediately.
The guard’s whistle rang out a moment later, and with a blast of her own, Emily set off with the Saloons.
