Junghwan will be Mcountdown’s permanent new MC together with Gunwook from ZB1 and Kyehoon from Kickflip!
Congratulations Junghwan!!!
So that means 3 things
- we will get to see Junghwan every week for like a year 😭💕
- They will perform special MC stages together ‼️
- Treasure will stay in Korea in 2026??? (better promotion in Korea? 2nd comeback around october? 🤞)
ngl I really thought Rora from Baemon would be the new MC, but then YG announced a new world tour for them starting this summer and so being an MC at the same time is just impossible. It just hadn’t clicked yet that that meant the new MC would have to be someone from Treasure 🙌
Last month, when Teume jokingly asked who in Treasure should be the new MC, I immediately thought of Doyoung with Junghwan as a close second 🫶 I think Junghwanie will do really well!
It’s a great opportunity for networking and making friends with other idols and groups. I’m so happy he gets that chance 🫶
It’s so funny though that Junghwan is still the maknae of this group eventhough Treasure debuted the earliest 😅 He’s the sunbaenim, but he’s still the youngest 😄
Tomorrow will be his first broadcast; fighting Hwanie!!
