Truths about traveling - behind the beautiful pictures

I did the whole travelling there a few years ago and while it was an incredible privilege full of once in a lifetime experiences, there some things that I never hear being talked about online.
This isn’t necessarily, like, pros and cons, more like, little realities you might face.
1. Nobody cares
I know that sounds harsh but it’s true, especially if you travel solo, you will never be able to…
As you may or may not know, we have a YouTube channel where we share our travels, aiming to inspire you and add new destinations to your “must-see” list. Our style might not be to everyone’s taste, but our videos focus on the places we visit rather than on us.
I create and edit these videos with one goal in mind: the couch traveller. I used to be one myself, watching travel videos, feeling a mix of envy and hope that one day I could explore those places too.
Currently, we have 70 videos (with more added each week) and 55 subscribers. And that’s okay! As I’ve mentioned before, our channel is about showcasing beautiful locations, not about putting ourselves in the spotlight. You’ll rarely see us on camera, and I even use an AI voiceover because I don’t like how I sound on video.
If you ever feel like it, check out our channel and share your thoughts in the comments here or on the videos you watch. We’d love to hear from you!
It’s Thursday my dudes and that means I have to do an art every single day for the rest of this week instead of being a lump like I do love.
Today I decided to do a thing I’d been putting off: remounting my scratch-off world map. It was in a frame before with a plastic covering over top, so anytime I wanted to scratch off a new place I needed to take it down, take it out, scratch, put it back, & put it back on the wall. That sucks.
So I mounted it to some foam and directly to the wall!
But hey… There’s an awful lot of space around it, huh? And I have an awful lot of souvenirs that don’t have a home…
I need some more supplies to do what I want, but just imagine the map, but with different places tied to the stuff from there! I did a quick inventory and I’m so sure I have some things hidden away in a drawer somewhere that I’ll find eventually. But for now, here’s what I’m thinking:
Color-coordinated ofc.
Also it may not be direct Art but interior design counts right?
