David Benavidez is being pushed into the Ramirez fight as a proving ground rather than a destination, with his own trainer making clear that beating Gilberto “Zurdo” Ramirez is only meaningful if it shows he belongs alongside Dmitry Bivol and Artur Beterbiev. The statement strips away the promotional language surrounding the Cinco de Mayo bout and places the pressure squarely on Benavidez to…

Hotel Z had, on the whole, prepared Taunie for the kinds of sights and goings on that most in Lumiose wouldn’t think could happen.
It had not, however, prepared her for an alpha Gardevoir opening the double doors, bowing in awkward apology to her, and then turning to guide an alpha Camerupt in. She briefly wondered what was going on, until she saw Silver slung over the Camerupt’s back asleep.
She knew he was asleep because, well, most Snorlax were quieter sleepers than Silver was. There was a cacophonic snore from the sleeping trainer, prompting a grimace from Taunie and Gardevoir along with an irritated huff from Camerupt.
Taunie sheepishly lifted her friend off Camerupt’s back. Camerupt sighed in relief, moseyed over to the small living room setup off the entryway, and gently plopped down to rest. Gardevoir and Taunie glanced at each other, shrugged, and carefully hauled Silver into the elevator to take him up to his room.
