Separated Store vases and flowers

This took a bit! I’m happy I was able to finally finish what I’ve had in mind for ages: learning how to add container slots to objects! Here you have 14 plants and 15 vases that you can mix & match among themselves and with other separated plants, provided they can be placed on slots 😊

  • The vases can be found under Decor \ Misc for various prices, and the plants can be found under Decor \ Plants for $10. The Feather Arrangement can be found under Decor \ Misc.
  • They can be moved around in Live Mode on their own and, in the case of the vases, when objects have been placed in them!
  • Everything is recolorable with several channels and 3 presets, with the exception of the Regency Plant (which has two presets with two mask variations) and the leaves and stems of the plants.
  • The vases have 2-3 slots each, at different heights to account for shorter or taller plants/objects. For better control, you can use the M key when placing to switch between the different slots.
  • Yes, you can also stack vases on top of each other 😁

💚 Thanks: @pitheinfinite for the container slot tutorial, @zoeoe-sims for telling me about the HandToolSkipRecursivePickupTests flag which allows these objects to be picked up and moved in Live Mode.

Recommendations: ATS3 & Frankie’s sets 01 and 02 (make sure to manually enable the FullRotation flag on them in S3PE, otherwise you won’t be able to rotate them once placed on slots!), MadRayne’s conversions of plants, my other set of separated plants, omedapixel’s Sims 3 Decorator Tools (amazing utility; can be used on items placed on the slots of the vases to finetune placement and avoid clipping).

Two new hampers

This small project marks an important improvement: I finally figured out how to add container slots to objects that didn’t have any! And you may notice that I opted to make the clothing recolorable too, because the overlays just didn’t sit right with me: the Showy clothes get one full channel, but the Cartsville ones get two channels with a gradient effect 😁

These hampers can be found under Bathroom \ Laundry, and have proper LODs and geostates.

ℹ️ The Super versions require NonaMena’s Super Hamper script! Compared to the regular versions, which only collect clothes from the rooms they’re placed in, the Super hampers collect clothes from the entire lot — therefore, only one Super hamper is needed per lot 😊

Source. Polycount: 1227. 3 presets, 4 channels. Costs $80. Has 5 slots.

Showy Hamper: Mediafire | Mega | Simblr
Source. Polycount: 1383. 3 presets, 4 channels. Costs $165. Has 18 slots.

Big thanks to Pi’s tutorial for helping me understand how to add the container slots, and to aisquared’s slot marker for the previews!

Addons to Store Eri Silk Drapes

I liked these curtains from the India Inspirations Bedroom, but of course EA only made a 2-tile version, because why would anyone want more options 🙄 So I went ahead and made 3- and 5-tile versions, and edited the 2-tile version to match while I was at it. You don’t need the original curtains.

Unlike my addons to the Forest Curtains, the 3x and 5x versions are actually made for 2- and 3-tile windows but extend slightly past that grid space to avoid clipping when using windows that occupy an entire tile.

All come in 3 presets, with 3 channels and 3 unrecolorable rod variants (gold, silver, black). They can’t be shifted up and down the wall the normal way, but you can use omedapixel’s Sims 3 Decorator Tools mod to do that.

⚠️ There may be some blurriness when recoloring, but the textures will look nice and crisp after exiting CASt.
