My 2025 Music Listening Stats
The total seems to be about 8-10% lower than last year, but shows that I listened to more different artists/songs/albums.
I wonder how many spins of Michael Jackson is just Dirty Diana? A lot, I bet. Him showing up in my top 25 was the biggest surprise. Jimmy Buffett, too, but I listened to Margaritaville a lot while writing my wild animal rescuer Eddie fic.
Oh, basically all of them, I see. 🤣🤣
Djo rose to the top of the pile in all three categories: Artists, Songs & Albums. I’m not at all surprised. This was the year of the Djo, and I wouldn’t change a thing.
Whatever Eels Lake Cottage is at #21 pisses me off. I hate when songs get attached to a bullshit album instead of their original, like they should. This “album” is 75 very popular songs, and they should not be attached to this pretend album.
And I can definitely see the songs that were listened to while I was writing specific fics, lol.
