I played Danganronpa V3 Killing Harmony on Twitch!
I think I’ve played enough by now to have solid opinions on most of the characters, but I can only make guesses at the end of the day.
Today, I focused on building friendships! Specifically with Gonta, Kaito, Himiko, and Tenko.
I think Gonta has to be saved from Kokichi or something really bad is going to happen. He’s such a sweet boy who’s only doing his best to be kind and good to everyone, but he’s so trusting that it leads him to put his faith in the worst person he could ever think to be “friends” with.
His love for bugs is so endearing, and I hope to goodness that he remains safe. The way Kokichi leads him around worries me, because I think Kokichi is incredibly intelligent. He’s this game’s Komaeda, but without an attachment to hope. Kokichi is in it just for the sake of the game, but Gonta is so naive that he can’t fathom that people like that exist!! Kokichi is 100% our Suicidal Maniac, and it would take some crazy convincing to change my mind.
Kaito is a big sweetheart, and I really would like him to survive. He’s the best friend anyone in this killing game could ask for, because he doesn’t let his friends stay down. He really is the Luminary of the Stars!
Himiko is the quintessential Girlfailure, and she couldn’t be even more adorable if she tried. I hope I get a lot of gifts for her from the Monomono Machine in the school store. The gifting system is kind of obvious, and I’m pretty glad about that, because it means i can give these guys the most successful gifts ever :3
Tenko… is simply Goldship from Umamusume: Pretty Derby. She needs to experience wider groups of people than just her teacher, because the relationship they have does not seem healthy at all…
This chapter’s victim was Ryoma!! For a second, i was terrified that it may have been Kaito, but I was relieved to see that that was not the case. Sad that it’s Ryoma, but thankfully it’s not Kaito. The killer is between Kirumi and Korekiyo, tbh. Kirumi because she completes tasks to the fullest and Ryoma was always kind of passively… yk.., Korekiyo because he’s a fucking weirdo who wanted to see how everyone reacts to another killing to study them for his weird anthropology fetish.
I have to investigate this case, and hopefully during this class trial, I’ll have collected the hope fragments and points necessary to get skills to make arguing my points and finding the truth easier. I’m still shocked by the fact that the Monokubs kill each other per-execution, so I paid extra attention to their dynamics this chapter, and I’m sure that something is going to happen between Monodam and Monosuke. Hopefully Monodam comes out victorious!! We love you Monodam!!!
I’ll see you all Tuesday for Stardew Valley! I’ll be upgrading the barns and coops to get every animal! We still have that dinosaur egg, too!
