Day 2815, 27 February 2026
London skyline abstract.
I must admit that I am rather fond of creating light trail abstracts with my camera especially if you can vaguely make out what it is. Can you spot the Shard?
ALTBishop is starring in a new 5-issue limited comic book series from writer Saladin Ahmed and artist Mario Santoro. Bishop and his sister Shard will have to face off against the Final Brotherhood, a new group of villains from his future.
“Bishop has always lived by a strict code. But that code will get called into question when his sister, Shard, is sent to the present right before she died! Will Bishop adhere to his principles and protect the timestream? Or will he risk it all to save the most important person in his life?” (Marvel Comics)
Bishop #1 (of 5) goes on sale on June 10, 2026. The main cover is by Davide Paratore with variant covers by Fabrizio De Tommaso and Skottie Young.

⠀⠀⠀The mechanical hedgehog’s head tilted slightly the side at the sound of the somewhat familiar voice - though he had to admit, he’d never seen this pink hedgehog before. They looked and sounded similar enough to Amy, but just different enough to know they weren’t her.
⠀⠀⠀“Uh–” his synthesized voice emitted from his robotic mouth, “no, can’t say I was. Butcha got me curious now. My scans don’t have anythin’ on ya…” A hand came to his face, digits gently stroking at his chin. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀Beneath the glass of his optic visor, Shard’s scanners had been giving the hedgehog a once-over. No data on him whatsoever.
⠀⠀⠀“Name’s Shard. Who are you?” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Closed starter for@voltaicrage!!
⠀⠀⠀Mobius had grown pretty peaceful after Eggman’s last defeat, the metallic hedgehog had been enjoying himself, finally. He had a chance to actually just stop and take in the surroundings, enjoy time with Nicole, finally make the push for inorganic beings joining the organic Mobians peacefully– Shard had grown bored. It wasn’t something he meant to happen, or even enjoyed, really. He wanted things to stay peaceful, but… Action was exciting.
⠀ “Man. What I wouldn’t give for another attack right now.” Shard mused quietly, before glancing around. “I hope nobody heard me say that, yikes. Heheh.”
⠀⠀⠀A small popup on his visor caught his attention. A sudden spike in electrical energy nearby, readings way higher than anything he’d seen before. He tapped his temple, a visor covering his eyes as he scanned the area. Tails hadn’t made him aware of any kind of weapons test, and as far as he was aware, this was far enough away from all the old Eggman bases that this couldn’t be one of them.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀“Huh. That’s weird.” He mused, “better check it out.” With an excited whirr, the machine’s engine burst into life, forcing him off of the ground at high speeds. Wind rushed through his metal quills, while his silver muzzle smirked with a sense of arrogance. After all, if he was supposed to be Sonic, he may as well carry the organic’s attitude.
⠀⠀⠀He came to a stop over a large hole in the ground, watching as the clouds above grew darker and darker. Signs of a thunderstorm always annoyed him– he hated having to touch up his paintjob again. Matching the right shade of yellow was just so tedious…
⠀⠀⠀Shard’s optics stopped as he spotted an organic in the hole below. Green fur, long, sharp quills, and an outfit that he, frankly, admired– it was exactly his own colour scheme. The small, green glowing gem and the lights of his optics faded to a bright red - his combat mode was active.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀“Yo, sparky,” the machine taunted, watching as her body jolted with stray bolts of electricity, “am I right in assumin’ this whole thunderstorm deal is your doin’? Sorry, but– can’t letcha do that. Not this close to the city.” His metallic feet clanked as he walked towards the edge of the hole, dropping down with a heavy thud. His finger waved in a somewhat teasing way, as if he were telling the figure before him she shouldn’t be doing… Whatever she was doing.
⠀⠀⠀“See, the city’s under my watch. No touchie.”⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

AAYYYY!! Good deal good deal! It’s a bit late (supposed to have been sleeping for 4 hours) so it might not be 100% coherent (or I’ll fall asleep mid-write or after) but I’ll try. Also technically spoilers.
Just as a careful warning: suicide, incest, gore/violence are all parts of his story one way or another, even know if the first 2 are milder(?)
Noah Weber, youngest of his siblings (18), is the protagonist of Shard. He’s… certainly a personality. Originally, he came from the core of ‘family’, except I threw uranium in there and laughed evily as literally everything fucking exploded.
He lives in a world where people can get superpowers. These select people are called parahumans or metahumans (I tried). Good for him is that he was a total nerd about them, aware of many of the pitfalls people slip into when unaware. Sadly for him, he was a total nerd. He gets a cool, technically busted power, which is to essentially steal the powers of others with slight modifications, but knows enough to comprehend that this will absolutely put him on a radar he does NOT want to be on. Part of why he still goes out is because of his siblings. With his power came the ability to see they also had them, in the form of a halo around them. He doesn’t take it too good, but also substantially better than he could have, deciding to haul ass with his own to help keep his siblings safe.
His POV ranges from “their future is clad in crimson and is named Murder.” to total bangers like “Self doubt fandom” and he actually does call it out himself by more or less going “well sucks to suck and fucks to fuck I’m just on another type of shit” and yeah, he really is.
He has already shown a slightly worrying attitude towards both his own life, and those of others on occasion. (This is where the gore warning comes in) He also gets another black mark by later day-dreaming about wanting to burrow around and play in the organs of a man he has essentially seen explode into a gigantic wolf-like… thing. With such fine descriptions as literally sloughing off skin and scalp. Don’t let him dissect things, he’ll get really into it.
So far, this is basically all I wrote officially, but this bad boy can pack soooo many issues in him it would be sad not to use that. So technically anything beyond this is spoilers from beyond the first 10-11 chapters.
(this is where a bit of the incest connotations come in (primarily with more context/story?)) He’s willingly isolated himself from anybody who isn’t his direct family, placing all of himself on them. His father, Emilie, Jack, and Nile (also the dog) are the only people who actually matter to him, up to him just potentially killing himself should they all die. He is also more than willing to catch a few bodies if he needs to in order to protect them.
Noah is very unlikely to say anything if any of them were to hurt or otherwise do something illegal, either to him, or others. Noah is, in other words, absolutely glued to them in ways that are either unhealthy or can quickly turn so, which means either you scrape him off, or you break what he is attached to.
His moral compass? I put a hamster in that one.
Sadly for everyone else, he’s also very smart in a lot of things. Social? Not so much. Languages, random facts, space, animals, etc? Very much.
In other words: A Little Silly detected
Also I’m passing out I just hope this is vaguely coherent, what was asked for, and I’ll happily edit/add more later if I can rise again from undeath. The honk shoo amimimi is calling me

Day 2753, 6 January 2025
The Shard and clouds, London
Whilst I have taken a photo of this view many times, today there is an important difference. It was taken at sunrise rather than sunset.

Day 2746, 30 December 2025
The Shard, London
Yes a view I’ve photographed many times before. However, as I have pointed out on similar occasions- the clouds are very different!

commissionnnn
fun fact I’m NOT familiar with this character, I’ve only seen him every now and then but he was fun to draw, might check his lore WHO KNOWS
Quick list of moderately obscure Transformers that I adore:
Squeezeplay, the American version of Cancer from Masterforce. Got his toy in a multipack (that I picked up because it was the easiest way to get The Rock Cliffjumper, and I needed the The Rock) and now he’s one of my favs. Love that he turns into some sort of crab/scorpion/python monster thing. He’s a major fixture of my desk.

Shard. One of the Armorizers meaning she has zero story but is a cool rock helicopter lady with some badass accessories. Love assembling her thrusters and blades together into a cool bow looking thing. Plus what lore she does have ties her to Planet Dread and its Death Crystals that come from Chaos and that’s sick, based episode of G1.

Fossilizers. I fucking love the Fossilizers. I have posted about them before and I will post about them more in the future they are genuinely among my favorite guys. So cool. Skeleton dinosaurs are so fucking cool.

Slash. Littlest Dinobot, she’s based af. My buddy @tendo-the-lich is a brain genius that sold me on shipping her with the similarly sized fossilizer girly Vertebreak. He has a powerful mind. Here’s a picture of Vertebreak kabedoning Slash.

Devcon. There are like twelve Devcon fans and I’m one of them. It was Destiny that his first real toy happened to be a peg warmer right as I was getting hooked into this franchise. Devcon is an Autobot bounty hunter from exactly one episode of season 3 of the Sunbow cartoon. His main gimmicks are that he is hyper energy effect somehow and he hunts Decepticons. And by the end of the episode he has a new best friend named Slizzardo who is just a little guy.

Doublecross. So Headmasters is mostly a bad show and I would not recommend it really unless you are desperate for one additional season of Sunbow transformers. It’s got some highlights but is mostly kind of boring and it’s cast lacks charisma, especially compared to future japan exclusive shows like Masterforce and the two Beast Wars anime (which are not in this post for now because I’m sticking to characters I have toys for and I don’t consider Magmatron obscure enough but he’s dope as hell). Anyway what was I saying. Right DOUBLECROSS. They rock. The monsterbots are kinda bootleg Dinobots but weaker. Doublecross’s main thing is that his two alt mode heads have independent thoughts. They are both idiots. I love them. Sometimes they are both drunks too. Bonus. Sick ass toy. Torso is kind of weirdly long but making them a headmaster/titan master is hilarious. Like I don’t know if the power boost helps but they could definitely use the babysitter. I also love a lot of the sculpted details: they have some cool sculpting on the alt mode arms, the heads have great articulation, and the legs are neat. The guns are kind of awkward for the toy and the robot mode arms make pretty terrible arms but honestly that’s kind of to be expected with this guy so I am not holding that against him. I didn’t buy him for the robot mode he barely used in the show I bought him for the two-headed dragon himbo power.
