Maybe one of my most visually pleasing RCT coasters. Feels very… Vekoma

i was making a ride while on bumbly bazaar but completed the scenario before i could even do the finishing touches lol

was playing a scenario with my friend last night, the first roller coaster i made had a string of freak accidents that lead to the deaths of 21 guests

so we embraced the evil killer ride (after i fixed the hills that kept launching people to their deaths) and i turned the whole area into an evil park :P

my attempt at building an actual coaster in roller coaster tycoon 2 :)

i have no idea what im really doing still i just watched some tutorials on coaster making and wanted to practice

we are SO back!

• Sane roller coasters that people will actually ride and not coat the floor with puke
• Fast chairlift
• Two Food courts
• Bizarre theming

throwback to my younger days about two weeks ago when i attempted pokey park without realising you could buy more land

yes, that is a launched freefall over a wooden coaster over a steel coaster. i love this game

and no, it wasn’t remotely close to the win conditions by the end of year 3

(i made the supports invisible as otherwise the wooden coaster’s supports would hide literally everything else in the park)

The peeps in Roller Coaster Tycoon

I made a little trans flag with flowers in RCT2 and have dedicated one Maintenance Man to keeping them alive and mowing the grass around it.

He is unfortunately confined to the centre of the coaster by himself but it’s okay.

I was not aware that was a thing, but I am VERY interested now! 👀

OpenRCT2: Aqua Park

Wow! That sure is a lot of aqua! The first ride I built was obviously a wooden roller coaster with the water splash. I mean, it’s a water park- Gotta stay on brand at least a little bit.

Then there’s the big ass mine train coaster- You’ll see a bunch of this one around the park, since it goes in a huge loop.

The purple looping coaster is a shuttle loop- It goes forward along the track, out over the water, and falls back before going back up thanks to gravity. Thanks, gravity!

This white one is called Archon Loops- I know that I’m probably ripping that from some half forgotten drum loop pack or something, but I don’t care. It looks like the color scheme of Heaven from Diablo- Yeah? Maybe some blue would complement it nicely, but it’s not a big deal. The cars hanging down from under the coaster and standing you up just adds to the angelic vibe.

Ignore the fact that it has an intensity of over 10.

The blue corkscrew coaster, which you might have noticed already, is probably the largest one in the park. It also has a high intensity, but everyone seems to love it. It goes in such magnificent loops over the whole of the park, and passes through these loops not once but twice. It’s huge, and I think it’s the most impressive coaster in the whole park.

Honorable mention goes to the wooden Wild Mouse coaster whos intensity shot up to 8 when I changed the coasters to the minecart coasters. Everyone still loves it, and the just can’t get enough of puking their guts out on the heavily populated pier.

And that’s Aqua Park done. I’m turning off early scenario completion from now on- I was able to make so many more coasters and polish the park a bit in the extra time I had.

Well, it wasn’t that much extra time, since I was cutting it a little close, but it was enough time to finish every ride.

OpenRCT2: Dinky Park

Wow, it really is dinky…

I made part of the park, including the station for the Observation Tower, under the hill that the main park is built on. The only thing preventing me from doing more was how CONFUSING it gets down there.

As for the park over the road, I didn’t get far into that section before the goal was reached and the park was over. I was in the middle of building a giant wooden roller coaster, but I can always do more of those later.

Instead of trying to fit a confusing path over the road and the rest of the park, I decided to dig under the road and connect the pier to the existing underground section of the park!

If only I’d gotten the chance to re-add the ferris wheel…

Well, time waits for no-bold, let alone this one, so I shall move on to the next park… Soon?

Also, and this isn’t really relevant, but can I just point out how the go-kart track that comes with the park is called Richard’s Wreckers?

Chris Sawyer, you dirty, dirty boy, making dick jokes in a game like this. Or maybe it wasn’t a dick joke and I- Shut up! Shut the hell up!

The log flume is my favorite ride that I built, followed up immediately by the Looping Coaster that I was working on when I hit the goal.

Speaking of hitting the goal- I’ve hit the goal early for the last few parks. If anyone reads these when I post them- Would you rather I wait out the timer, so that I end up with a more interesting and expanded park at the end of it?
