You can totally get that the guy was a POS with women, he was literally losing his mind, clinically, and at the same time he was one the best artists of the XX century and at the same time he invented a pictoric movement called CUBISM and painted not only women’s faces but everyone’s faces in a “disfigured/distorted” way, which was not indicative of abuse in any way, shape, or form, as some Jr tik tokers that were born last week, are claiming bc they don’t know what cubism is, but also 2 of his ex partners commited suicide and 2 others wrote whole books to tell their experiences with him, and at the same time understand that a person who commits suicide bc Picasso moved on to a “newer” object of his affection he was gonna obsessed over for the next decade or longer, is a person that needed help, even outside their relationship with Picasso and at the same time feel inspired by his work today because NONE OF THOSE THINGS CANCEL EACH OTHER OUT, THEY CAN ALL COEXIST IN THE MIND OF A PERSON WITH A NON-REDUCTIONIST MENTALITY and that doesn’t mean such person is a POS themself, just means that they can understand all of this concepts simultaneously and how they are correlated and don’t exclude each other.
