I haven’t posted on here in awhile but since I deleted all my other socials apps, I thought I’d update this one. Here’s a few things that have been going on in my life.

⭐️ I got laid off from my job January of last year.

⭐️ I streamed on Twitch for 6 months. Loved it!

⭐️ I joined Flatiron School’s software engineering bootcamp.

⭐️ I made my first game demo

⭐️ in November I graduated from the bootcamp with the knowledge of full stack software engineering and the goal to be a backend engineer or game dev

⭐️ now as the new year starts I’m excited to secure a job and achieve the goals I set out to achieve by starting a new career!

My go-to school fit

I am a BSBA Marketing Student at Lyceum of the Philippines University-Laguna and we don’t have a uniform yet so we are wearing casual clothes with proper code. Most of the time, I have time and energy to style and make an effort on what I’ll be wearing, sometimes I have a theme depending on what I want, for instance, formal, casual, sweet-girl look, elegant, simple, and my go-to fit which is this. When my class is in the afternoon and it is only one subject, I just wear a shirt or a sweatshirt or a jacket and any jeans (tattered are not allowed) and any shoes also, whatever I pick. As you all know, I am an easy-to-chill person and a jacket is a must for me when I know my errands will be finished at night or I will be in an airconditioned area or I just bring my jacket for backed up. This was just easy and go-to. You can find these in your wardrobes easily, no need to style up.

Basic ain’t basic

Feeling confident in your looks is not a need for fulfilling social obligations. Simply because looking good makes you happy, you can dress up. However, huge occasions with clear dress standards are the ones where we put a lot of thought into our attire. The ideal scenario is when we dress for both of these reasons: to improve our self-esteem and to appear appropriate for the environment.

This is just a basic dress. It is called “basic” because it is only plain, no design. There are also basic tops just like this. I have school and I have decided to wear a dress because I get bored wearing pants and it is very hot but when you get into the room it is not because it was airconditioned, that is why I wore a denim jacket. My denim matches the color of my dress and it fits so well. It is also matched with a white cardigan or denim jacket, not with black or other dark colors, it doesn’t compliment dark to dark. I wore a white cap for a more classy look and black and white sneakers to add a little sparkle to my footwear and a mid socks. This is just a plain outfit but when you know how to style and match colors, you can definitely rock it.

The expression “Titas of Manila” was used by Filipinos to refer to their aunts or older women, which led to the popularity of tita clothes. Someday, the term “tita” will be used to describe women who dress more modestly than revealingly.

This was our trip to Rizal, my niece’s birthday celebration, so I decided to wear my long dress with a slit because I didn’t feel like wearing pants because it was hot and to try another look. In this picture, I wore a white midi dress I bought again from TikTok (they really have nice dresses) and then match it with black Korean wedge sandals so that I feel comfortable walking because we went to the zoo and it was a huge hectare that you can walk around, as I remember it has 75 stages so it’s really a long walk and my feet would hurt if I wore a sneakers. I only used my mini sling bag because I only brought my charger, power bank, wallet, and my lippie. It is not a match to a backpack because we are achieving “tita vibes” and most of the Tita’s are not wearing that, most of them are sling bags or handbags. And then sunglasses because the sun is still there and you can put it in your head to achieve that really “tita vibes” look.
