Her name is Flare. She’s Decepticon search and rescue, but she’s also does some stealthy recon and info gathering regarding terrain, conditions, positions of targets, buildings, etc. and advises Decepticon command over what kind of tactics to use.
She’s called Flare bc uhh…flares are used for emergencies. She has a function where she can light up parts of her frame, like a flare, when wounded or trapped Decepticons are found, but she knows whatever the Cybertronian equivalent of morse code is, and sends intel to whoever is watching. (Probably Soundwave).
Being good at navigation, locating things and people, and mapping used for rescuing people, she finds that those skills help in offense tactical operations.
She’ll use her position as “simply a rescuer” to get past enemy lines.
Her frame is TANKED bc we love big bitches in this house and she’s gotta be strong to carry bots back. Paintjob is black mostly with bright, obnoxious emergency orange decals. Hi vis. She’s begrudgingly besties with my Autobot diver and medic OC, Driftdive (alias Nitrox) bc they both went to the same academy before the war, and Nitrox is friends with some cons and has come to their aid in the past.
