I’ve had a really cool idea for a dnd game for a couple years now but my problem is that I want to play it, not dm it. Like I’ve built out the plot, the theme, the world, the enemies, the special items, and a fun way of doing experience but like… I’m never gonna share it with potential dm’s bc they wouldn’t be able to run it exactly how I’d want it to be.
The only thing I’ll say about it is the party is a crew of “pirates”(but like there’s a bit more to it but I won’t be saying it bc no) and the world is a bunch of islands.

(Another possible issue is finding a group willing to play with one main restriction: base weapons are only a cutlass and a pistol, just a cutlass, just a pistol, 2 pistols, or 2 cutlasses. There are other weapons they can discover, pilfer, and/or plunder
It’s hella exploration based with tables I’ve made for possible events as they sail across the sea that lead to one of the following in-depth tables about natural disasters, fish, treasure, enemy encounters, and sea monsters.
I even made custom stat blocks for the various sea monsters and main villains and set them up to level up alongside the party so I have their builds all planned out from level 1 to level 20 (with how exp works in this it’s more likely that the party will get to that level by the time or before the typical campaign fizzle out period comes).
The only big things I haven’t planned out are like 99% of the various non-villain npc’s that the party could come across.
Anywho this has been my rant about the dnd game I’ve spent ages working on that I will never play nor fully reveal to anyone.
