mugi doesn’t have a crush on anyone really, but they’re basically in love with everyone that they consider their friends. which is pretty much anyone except the people they’re scared of (itachi, konan, pein) and sasori who they think is just boring.
they’ve only just started learning how to have friends so having a serious romantic relationship is kinda out of mugi’s league for now
you would think that anyone would be a third wheel with kakuzu and hidan, but mugi inserts themself so strongly into their group (and into any situation really) that they fit in pretty well. mugi’s abilities also work really well with them in battle so it works out.
