good game developer/company should have a framework to hire author of popular mods of their game as an official way to compensate for the mods, if the author so choose/need financial compensation. that way it creates an ecosystem that support mod developer long term without relying on player’s donation and also leverage the company’s resources (for marketing e.g. for the mod dev) while benefitting the company itself (attracting player base)

Yesterday I was supposed to upload a voiceover speed decor video but ofc my laptop pulled some grimy shit and won’t let me lol. But in the video I was expressing how mods for the celebrity system in TS3 is NONEXISTENT lol yes, I understand that The Sims is built around that “middle class” family like or the realistic struggle come up gameplay but there are players like myself who enjoys playing with celebrities and we all know the the celebrity system in the Sims 3 lacks A LOT lmaooo. What they did with The Sims 4 Get Famous expansion is what we needed for the The Sims 3 Late Night expansion and if any modders out there that sees this, please we need you to tweak the celebrity system somehow and add things like bodyguards/protection, more interactions, animations, and better and realistic opportunities. Like celebrities can fight/curse out paparazzi and fans, when they reach level 3 of celebrity they automatically have a bodyguard to follow them in public lots and the more the level increases, they have more and better protection. Fans can faint or have a dangerous obsession with the celebrity likes it’s just so much 😭
