I’m sure you can think of one to two shows that have made a return to the big screens in the past few days. Although never the one you hope would * cough cough* FRIENDS.. but the question really is why? why do we crave the return of tv shows? can it be comforting? or nostalgia or better yet a combination of both.

A list of shows that have returned in the past let us say 5 years include :

* That’s so Raven

* Full house

* Will and Grace

and most recently even the good old classic “ Rosanne”.

I truly believe that the return of tv is mostly reliant on the political and social climate that we live in. With popular culture being monitored oh so closely and political figures becoming social enemies, we do what naturally comes as the fastest reaction: We turn the other way. With media, this behavior results in the return. Either to see how favorite characters would react or to tune out even if it’s for about an hour each day. the result of these shows returning has been tremendous when measuring them in ratings. old classical have become new favorites and I believe that by 2019 a dozen ( if not more) shows will make a comeback.

We have all heard of , been or trying to be a blogger. When looking for a definition for ‘blogs’ online i found that google docs defines blogs as “a regularly updated website or web page, typically one run by an individual or small group, that is written in an informal or conversational style”. Although this definition is true at its core , blogging has changed face many times in the past few years.
Blogs traditionally are webpages that include some sort of text that gets updated or added to as time goes on. As mentioned in the definition above, they are written in an informal manner. However blogging as we know it today, is a lot more visual. This could be caused by many different factors that include: 
* Advancement of technology
* Lack of time
* Wider audience
and more importantly , advertisement. Just imagine how much easier it Is for us to come face to face with advertising in our world today. Advertising in the world of a blogger is the difference between making rent or not. All jokes aside, bloggers or better said video bloggers better knows as vloggers make a living by the financial support they receive by advertisers. In the article “posted on jeffbulas.com  written by Pooja Lohana we are introduced to 6 easy ways bloggers make income with including advertising in their blog. These steps include :
* Pay per click advertising
* Sell your own advertising on your blog
* Sell text links on your blog
* CPM ad networks
* Pop-ups
* Paid reviews
Now as much as we love our blogs, or are fans of youtube or other online platform vloggers, it is important to realize that blogging is no longer a hobby or ammature in style since it is the new way we communicate in the modern day of technology.

I have so many stories to tell and they are all squeezed in my head and are waiting to be heard. I wanted to make a blog a looooong time ago, but, no matter- I will start now! I am ready to open up and I have a list of adventures to show, tell and suggest.

Let’s start off with an introduction. I am Latvian, but I study audiovisual media in Estonia, Tallinn University, BFM. I am fond of changes and I love to motivate people to go out of their comfort zone and fight for their dreams. This is mainly the reason why I decided to make this blog.

Anyhow, let’s understand what I am going to write about.

This blog is going to be split in 3 topics: 

Travelling, as I love to wander around. I will post my recent adventures and upcoming ones too: pictures from the trip, cafes and foods that I liked and others should try, general feeling I had living there, list of must-see places, essentials to take with you, travel playlists, my goofy and crazy adventures, tips and tricks for a better journey and just sharing my experience with you!

Media arts, as I am a media student. It will include: Photographs I like, people that inspire me, film feedback, lists of films to watch, upcoming films that I am excited about, quotes that i adore, films that have made an impact on my life, etc.

Ultimate Frisbee- sport that I have been doing for the past 9 years. I will keep You updated with the achievements of my team and me, give a guide in to this amazing sport, write about the tournaments I go to and just show the moments full of fun, sun & love. 

Be ready for my artsy stuff- everything is going to be uploaded and shared with You guys.
