
These vegan marble cake waffles are a delightful twist on traditional waffles, with a beautiful marble effect created by alternating spoonfuls of vanilla and chocolate batter. They’re perfect for a special weekend breakfast or brunch treat!
Ingredients: 1 ½ cups flour. 2 tbsp sugar. 2 tsp baking powder. ½ tsp sea salt. 1 ¼ cups unsweetened vanilla almond milk. ¼ cup melted coconut oil. 1 tsp vanilla extract. ½ tsp almond extract. 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder.
Instructions: Warm up the waffle iron. In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt together using a whisk. Coconut oil, vanilla extract, almond extract, and almond milk should all be added. Mix until it’s smooth. Move half of the batter to a different bowl. In one bowl, add the cocoa powder and stir it in until it’s all mixed in. To make a marble effect, add spoonfuls of each batter to the waffle iron one after the other. Cook the waffles as directed on the iron until they are golden brown and crispy. Keep warm and top with your favorite things.
