It always kinda bugged me how when everyone talks about how Binjpipe is eldrich horror (which isn’t even the correct term, they are technically cosmic horror) they talk about how it “comunes people minds” which is definitely unsettling, but I think you all are missing is that the game hints that the the algorithm’s body is the streaming service itself 

Just think about it: the reason we don’t see what the voice looks like or where it’s coming from is because we already have been for the last however long you Been playing. And it’s even worse for cookie, as he is stuck in a internal Purgatory where “the world” itself is watching him, devouring him
