Oh interesting!!!
[[MORE]]Inho’s kingdom is on the verge of collapse. They haven’t had rain in almost a year and most of the crops and stock animals have died, plunging the kingdom into a famine. No matter what Inho does, who he tries to talk to, nothing changes and he’s afraid he’s going to lose his kingdom just like he lost his beloved wife.
But one day, a kind and powerful sage enters the kingdom. As soon as he comes in, some of the crops miraculously come to life and the sick animals get better. The people come out into the street and welcome Gihun, following him to the castle, offering food and water and when Gihun smiles at them, they feel as if they’ve eaten a warm, filling meal and their thirst is quenched.
When Gihun reaches the castle, Inho’s ministers and advisors praise him, welcome him as if he’s royalty himself and Inho plans a feast in his honor. Junho stays by Gihun’s side all day and at bedtime, Gihun tells Junho where he’s been, all about his friends and all the adventures and people he’s met, and Junho falls asleep with Gihun’s hand in his.
That night, when Gihun sleep in the bedroom beside Inho’s, rain falls for the first time. Gihun stays for over two weeks, taking care of Junho, playing with him, teaching him some things. He also talked a lot with Inho and sometimes his advisors, giving them ideas onw how to better run the country and he would also walk around the farmlands, encouraging more and more crops to grow.
After about a month, the kingdom was saved. The famine was no more and everython was happy and healthy all thanks to Gihun. After throwing a party in his honor, Gihun announced that now that his work was done, he would be leaving. Inho immediately asked why and GIhun smiled somewhat sadly and said he just needed to help people from all over.
However, the next day, when Gihun was walking out of the kingdom, he was struck down, tied and blindfolded and he was taken somewhere. He was laid down on a bed and he felt one of his arms and legs being chained before the blindfold was taken off. he was shocked to see Inho and to realize that he was back at the castle.
Inho told Gihun that he loved him, that he couldn’t bear it if Gihun left and didn’t Gihun love Inho? Didn’t he love Junho? Why would he leave?
Gihun begs Inho to let him go, but Inho just shakes his head and tells Gihun that from now on, Inho will be the only person he sees and he will only love Inho and Junho. And Inho keeps his word. Each day and night he come in with food and helps Gihun eat and go to the bathroom. he hugs Gihun, caresses his cheek, saying he’s only doing what he’s doing because of how much he loves Gihun.
Gihun grows weaker and weaker by the day, missing the sun, the sky, the moon and no matter what Inho does, Gihun doesn’t seem to be getting better, which puts him in a temperamental mood, yelling at his advisors and even the civilians who wonder if a curse was placed on their king.
After a couple of months of being trapped, Junho somehow figures out that Gihun is trapped deep in the castle and one early morning, he sneaks down to where he is, frees Gihun from his chains and tells him to run and never come back.
Kissing Junho goodbye, Gihun runs through a hidden passageway that Junho tells him about. Halfway out of the kingdom, Gihun hesitates because…because part of him did grow to have some affection for Inho but he also desperately misses being able to travel and he misses his friends and he just NEEDS to be free.
However, because he hesitated, Inho managed to catch up to him, snarling and asking Gihun how dare he try and run away and that Inho needs him. Scared, Gihun backs up close to a cliff and immediately, Inho’s tone shift. He falls on his knees and tells Gihun he doesn’t have to go back with Inho. He tells Gihun all Inho wants is for Gihun to be happy, he just wanted Gihun to be happy with him but if he can’t…if Gihun really can’t love him then Inho wants Gihun to live. He doesn’t have to be with Inho…Inho just wants Gihun to live.
And Gihun keep staring at Inho and over the cliff, not doing anything. Finally, he steps closer to Inho and Inho tentatively holds out his hand and Gihun takes it. Inho sobs and kisses Gihun hands and Gihun tells him that, while he will stay the majority of the time with Inho, he needs to travel the world too but he promises to always come back.
Smiling and crying still, Inho kisses Gihun’s hand one more time and promises Gihun that he’ll never keep him locked up again and that Gihun could go and come as he pleases, just as long as he comes back to Inho and Junho…
