THE OATH

‘The Oath’ is the official induction and swearing into the Bat-Family. It is a ceremony that takes place in the Batcave and all Bat-Family members MUST attend. There is no lights, just the candle. The glowing eyes of the bats and Birds of your new family, And Bruce. Batman, Personally, swears you in.

The oath differs from person to person but, at it’s core, is a oath and a vow, similar to Bruce’s to fight for justice and righteousness. To help those in need so no one suffers like they have. To fight crime and corruption in all forms and never sway from the path of the light and good.

You raise your right hand and put your left on his, as if you were swearing on a bible in court.

You are reborn in the darkness that created Batman decades ago and he vows to let you in and be apart of his crusade. To support you and help when you ask. And to be a member of his and their family.

After the oath, the lights come back on. You get your bat crest on your costume and have a little party with the family to welcome you into the fold.

EVERYONE in the family has done this and you can not be a part of the Bat-Family until you do. You must pass Bruce’s training and the final test before you get your ceremony.

If you find yourself struggling to achieve trance, practice with this file! I guide you through my standard progressive relaxation exercise, then into a super-deep induction exercise where you visualize descending three sets of stairs into a beautiful valley. When you reach the bottom, I give you a set of affirmations designed to help you achieve trance easier. I added some relaxing soundscapes into this one, I hope you enjoy it!
