Friday night was so much fun!! We have a friend who started a monthly dnb event at a local retro arcade. He asked Steve to come play a few times but it was too hard during hunting season so he had to put it off. So glad he was finally able to coordinate his schedule for the gig.

I loved games when I was a kid and played them obsessively (Pacman, Galaga, Super Mario Bros., Gauntlet etc.). Steve was the same.

And we first met when I worked with his older brother at a movie theater when I was in high school because Steve used to come pick him up and hang around playing Street Fighter 2 while I played the Star Wars pinball machine. Then when we were dating, we spent a ton of time together playing games (Sega and nonstop Mortal Kombat omg).

So coming here was like a retro date night, but with a dnb soundtrack. 😆❤ I spent the first three hours playing all the old games while listening to dnb and the last hour dancing to an absolutely fire set from Steve. He’s so awesome. ❤️❤️

Geist looked in shock.

And picked clay up and spun him.

G: “YES, WE WOULD LOVE TOO. YES YES WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH!” Spinning him. Then stopping. G: “Can we kiss you.. we’re so excited! We couldn’t help ourselves.”

Clay more than happy. The feeling was near overwhelming.

C: “Just one it’s a lot. I..need a minute first” he was so happy, dizzy a bit but happy. He never thought Geist would actually accept. After giving himself a minute.

C: “Okay now,”

Geist kissed his cheek. Warm feelings that were quite intense for him. Something he wasn’t used too. Just..made him feel okay.

Geist let go.

G: “Sorry for spinning you..we never thought that such a option would be possible. You know we’re a beast Clay and yet.. we’re worthy of being yours?”

C: “Geist I don’t care. That’s not important to me, what’s important to me is that yer mine” Clays hand, touching Geists head. Geist leaning into his hand.

C: “This moment is a lot but it’s. Worth it I did technically rush this somewhat I… couldn’t find all the fancy ways to put it like how you would. But I did it my way.”

G: “we always want it how *you* would do it. You made us see that. And while we still feel like maybe we are equal. It’s.. something we’re working on still. But we’ll continue.”

C: “As long as yer mine darlin, as long as I’m yours, I don’t care, Yer the closest thing to perfection.”

Geist just melted. Holding his other hand.

G: “Well…guess we should plan this, how does a cowboy wedding sound?”

C:.“Fine by me darlin! Now let’s get to work!”
