But I must say: The new LCD-X provides vast improvements (the originals were already fan-freakin’-tastic)! Better ergonomics, greater efficiency (better for lower powered in-studio headphone amps) + overall soundstaging (width & depth) tonal balance and bass definition+slam. Since I’m stuck at home without my vinyl collections, it’s time to fully utilize some head-fi items.

Replacing my good old Bose, I’m trying an IEM, TRN V90 with an upgrade 16 cores cable with my Sony NW-A100TPS.

It’s a 4 Balanced Armature drivers + Dynamic Driver per side IEM. Not going to be a science rocket review, the bass balance is well and no bleed detected when playing a song. As a rock listener, the bass is well performed when pairing with Sony NW-A100TPS. If using a smartphone, you must use some apps to tweak the sound, just like you adjust the equalizer or tweaking some bass and treble on an amplifier.

It’ a price bargain!
