I’m not ready for Konnakol and NH4 and I’m not ready to let go of the HDIGH and KISSCO eras ( all though they technically aren’t over because their tours are still coming up) .

The boys have been feeding us nothing but absolute bangers and I’m especially not ready for the drought of 2027. Maybe we’ll get a tour extension or a Christmas album or something.

i was just comparing harry’s album lengths and it occurs to me that he has, fairly consistently, had albums in the 40s range in minutes

Hs1 - 40mins

Fine line - 46mins

Harry’s house - 42mins

Kiss all the time, disco occassionally - 42mins

It clearly works in his favour, having records that are not too long with a bunch of filler tracks. But I would love a full hour long harry album, you know? With louis, I was sort of wishing hdigh was longer, maybe adding some of the b side tracks to the main album setlist. And the fact that fitf was an hour long. I just love a good long album 😂 and again, sometimes that doesn’t work in favour of the record which is understandable

Sales HDIGH Tour - USA & Canada, Part 3/3 - Update 08.02.2026

I decided to do an update on this post two weeks after the album came out. While the European dates seem to sell well in total, US / Canada is still a problem.

Some of the Canadian dates picked up a bit but most (bigger) US venues are still heavily underselled. They took upper levels off sale for some venues which is usually done when sales aren’t good to concentrate the crowd attending.

Let’s see if all of these large venues will be kept or if they need to downsize. I couldn’t access the AXS overviews but I don’t think it will be that different from those locations sold via Ticketmaster.

Jump The Gun is about the lesbian who’s ready to fuck it all and get hitched after the first date because : “Got time for tattoos, cigarettes and alcohol/If you want it, you got it, better yet, just take it all” and and “Are you coming back to mine?/Or am I running out of time?” and literally “Is it too soon to love you? And if I do, would you say/Don’t jump the gun” you can not convince me otherwise

How Did I Get Here? - US charting first week

Just a little random update (more for myself for future reference)

So the HITS Top 50 album chart had HDIGH coming in at number 13, with 29,500 total sales (~25,500 album sales and 4000 sales from streaming).

The Billboard 200 album chart had HDIGH coming in at number 16, which I was a bit surprised to see because usually the HITS top 50 and Billboard 200 album charts are VERY similar to each other. If there is a position difference on the chart, it’s typically only 1 spot with albums being very close in sales numbers (around 1000 in sales or less).

Here’s the HITS top 50 chart around HDIGH compared to the Billboard 200:

When the data on the HITS Top 50 dropped, I was kinda hoping Louis might leapfrog above Morgan Wallen’s One Thing At A Time on the Billboard 200 because their sales were so similar, but I certainly wasn’t expecting a drop to 16, because those sales were a lot lower than HDIGH on the HITS Top 50. When you compare the two charts, it’s only HDIGH that made that kind of multi-position change in chart number in the top 20. (Album numbers 5 and 6 swapped positions on these two charts and they were only about 550 different in sales totals for example).

The tough part about the Billboard 200 chart is you don’t get all of the sales breakdown publicly like you do for the HITS top 50 chart. You can find articles on the top 10 with rounded sales numbers (and you will find they match HITS top 50 quite closely.

There is one tweet from chart data (that I could find on google since I’m not on twitter anymore) which says: “@Louis_Tomlinson’s ‘How Did I Get Here?’ debuts at #16 on this week’s Billboard 200 (25.5K sold)”.

A comparison to the HITS Top 50 information makes me wonder if it is possible that accidentally only the “pure sales” number for HDIGH was entered into the chart for Billboard, because HITS Top 50 did have HDIGH getting around 25500 in pure sales with about another 4000 in streaming equivalent sales.

Obviously this is all pure speculation from me since I can’t actually see the full Billboard data. At the end of the day, I’m not sure how much Louis/his team cares about this difference in the charts as the more important factor for them over all is knowing their actual sales and how it compares to their internal projections for the album performance in the region.

I’ve mainly written this up for myself for reference, and to satisfy my own curiosity as much as I could about the difference in the charting performance being unexpected. Thought I would share for any other charting geeks out there. If anyone else has more detailed data about the Billboard sales numbers (particularly a breakdown that specifically shows both “pure” sales and “streaming” sales, I’d love to know it!
