Singer and actor Park Jinyoung, a member of the group GOT7, shared stories about frequently fighting with his members during their early days as a team, while also showing that their friendship is still strong.
On the 10th, Jinyoung appeared on the YouTube web variety show “Salon Drip 2” on the channel TEO together with his co-star Kim Minju from the upcoming JTBC drama Still Shining.
When asked about how he keeps in touch with the GOT7 members, Jinyoung said, “We do have a group chat, but we don’t really talk that often. Even without constant contact, it still feels like family.” He added that he quietly keeps up with what the members are doing.
Jinyoung also responded to the rumor that GOT7 used to fight as often as groups like Shinhwa or Super Junior. He admitted honestly, “We really fought a lot.” He recalled that during dance practice, there were moves where they had to bump into each other, and sometimes emotions would flare up and they’d start hitting harder and harder.
Host Jang Doyeon then asked if it was true that they once grabbed each other by the collar and fought in a broadcasting station bathroom but acted friendly as soon as it was time to go on stage. Jinyoung replied with a laugh, “Yes, we actually did fight in the bathroom.”
He continued, “But as soon as someone said it was time to go on stage, we’d go out smiling like nothing happened. Then an hour later we’d be eating together and naturally make up.”
Jinyoung said that those fights actually helped strengthen the group. “Because we fought through everything back then, there’s nothing left to fight about now. I think it made us even closer,” he said, showing the deep trust he still shares with the members after more than 10 years together.
Meanwhile, Jinyoung is currently appearing in the drama Still Shining, which premiered on the 6th.

Wow… you basically pitched a whole story already, and I love it 😁
Honestly, I’m a huge fan of the cheating / messy feelings trope myself. The jealousy, the tension, the stolen kisses, the guilt… all that delicious emotional chaos? Yeah, that’s my kind of drama. And I also know a few people around here who absolutely live for that trope too.
Funny enough, the short story I’ve been thinking about writing, maybe the omegaverse one I keep joking about, has a bit of that flavour. (Yes, I AM thinking about writing an Omegaverse Jinson story!)
Not exactly the same, but definitely in that lane of “oh no… we shouldn’t be doing this… but also maybe we should kiss again.”
Right now I still have a few longer stories I really want to tell first, but your idea is honestly perfect for a shorter, easy-to-devour story. One of those fun reads where people come for the drama… and stay for the heavy wet smut.
So thank you for sharing this with me. Really. I love hearing ideas like this, and you never know… something very similar might end up appearing one day 😏

I started a new job, tripped into a bookshelf, and possibly rehurt my knee. All last week. Obviously this means I have to situationify Bambam. No idea if this will expand (knowing me the answer is yes) but for now —
Yoongi handed Jay B a wrench, humming to get his attention as he did so. Jay B looked up, curious.
“He’s different than the sort you usually hire.” Yoongi said bluntly, tilting his head towards the front of the shop. Jackson was there, walking the new kid, Bambam, through the invoice process.
The new kid, with clean, thin hands, unused to rough work. A lithe form that didn’t nearly have the buildup of muscles it should, the shaky hands. The thick brace around the kid’s right knee, the rough limp that slowed him down.
Jay B shrugged.
“Jackson met him before I did. Said he was a good kid. I trust him.”
Yoongi raised an eyebrow.
“I know you met with the kid before you hired him, dude. Come on, seriously.”
Jay B shrugged again, going back to the engine.
“I don’t know what to tell you, Yoong. He looked like he needed to catch a break. The address on his resume is in the rough part of town, his schedule is restricted around bus times, he clearly doesn’t eat enough, his…” Jay B trailed off, and they watched Jackson cheer as Bambam put in a new invoice all on his own.
“Besides.” Jay B finally said, shaking himself out of it, “Jackson really has been needing help, and at least his side of things isn’t as physically taxing.”
“Just mentally.” Yoongi snorted, turning back to the engine they were working on.

I really wanted to pull the “Just Right” Mark, so when it happened, I immediately decorated a toploader for him. The toploader that Jay B is in, is just a random one that I decorated. It’s not even for him, but he matches somewhat.
The first ever PC I pulled, Chanyeol, deserves to be displayed. Also, “Idol” getting me into K-pop meant my J-Hope has to be shown. All four are made by me, and just beside my bed.

The two ATEEZ ones are also decorated by me. I loved each concept PC and just had to put them up. They sit with the albums I don’t have on my shelves.
Both of these PC holders, from Amazon, are double sided. They have both PCs of J-Seph, my bias, that I pulled and Woojin. These are also beside my bed.
Bought Jaehyun’s solo album, and pulled this PC. How could I not display him? I had already bought the holder from Amazon. So, he now is on my NCT solos binder.
Renjun’s holder is also from Amazon. I just really like this PC (despite Renjun not being one of my main biases), and enjoy displaying it near my unused holders.
All of these Dream PCs are on the same shelf that I display my Stray Kids albums on. The group card is in one from Amazon, bought the same time as the holder Jaehyun is in. Pink Jeno has a pink dog holder, bought at the same time as the other two previously mentioned.
Plush puppy Jeno is from the Triple J content when they all got PC holders to carry around on their trip. It’s from Walmart, and the other two are on my Rainbow Shelf.
Both of Dino’s PC holders are from Mercari. I bought his The Thirteen Tapes, and pulled the card in the otter holder.
The otter holder had come with the PC that is in the rain holder. However, I wanted the otter one for his TTT. I then found the rain holder and it was absolutely perfect.
