I think I’ve already established that I like trying to have a lot of different “looks” for Valerie, and enjoy the idea that her favoured selection of outfits kind of progresses and changes at significant points throughout her story.
So anyways I’m calling this her Stealth Mission Suit.
She makes the most use of it during major Railroad ops she takes part in, and other situations that call for a little bit of discretion, including infiltration missions on behalf of the Commonwealth Alliance during the Institute War. While the tactical helmet and reinforced equipment pack were liberated from an abadnoned Rust Devil hideout, the main pieces of this ensemble were stolen off the corpses of Coursers and Synth Soldiers.
Thus, the outfit delivered some rather effective messages, both during her undercover mission in the Institute (where it helped her to blend in despite being an outsider and the helmet concealed her identity during safehouse runs), and once her cover was blown and the war was declared (where it served as a warning to any Institute agents of their impending fate).
