When you remove a plugin thinking “I’ll remember this sound”… and the universe says nope 🔌😐
PLUG-IN UNPLUGGED:
The sound is missing.
The void is eternal.
Two buttons. One regret.
Reconnect it… or Accept fate?

The most violent moment in music production: SAVE FAILED 🔥🥲
No backup.
Regret commencing.
Two coping strategies:
Clench Fist… or Call Mom.

CPU at 99%.
DAW holding on by faith alone 🔥💀
When everything is on fire but you still think: “one more plugin won’t hurt.”
Two reactions, both wrong:
Mute Stuff… or Freak Out.

Take Control of Your Sound: 7 Game-Changing MIDI Controller Tips for Modern Producers
Greetings, sound architects! I’m Jake Harlan, LA-based writer who’s penned guides for Mixmag and helped indie artists go viral. MIDI controllers are your studio’s secret sauce, turning abstract ideas into polished tracks. Here, I reveal 7 MIDI controller tricks every producer must know to break free from limitations. These techniques, drawn from real-world sessions, will ignite your creativity. Strap in!

One knob, endless power. Script MIDI controller knobs to tweak multiple params at once—filter + resonance + drive via macros. KeyLab Essential nails this.
In Ableton, use Max devices. Producers layer effects chains intuitively; your MIDI controller simplifies complexity.
Pads that stutter and roll? Enable note repeat on MIDI controllers for gated effects—perfect for hi-hats or glitchy leads. Adjust rate on the fly.
Pair with velocity layers in Massive X. This adds urgency to drops; feel the energy.
Recall pre-set harmonies instantly. MIDI controllers with memory slots store triads, sus4s—trigger with buttons.
Integrate with auto-chord plugins. Songwriting accelerates; your MIDI controller handles harmony heavy-lifting.
Knobs for loop length? Map to clip slots on MIDI controllers—shorten for tension, extend for release. Launch Control XL shines.
Visual feedback via lights. Builds feel organic, elevating arrangements.

Inject chaos: Map MIDI controller pots to randomize functions in plugins like Scaler 2. Hit a button for fresh ideas.
Limit ranges to taste. Beat block? Gone—sparked by your MIDI controller.
Blend tracks live with a crossfader on MIDI controllers. Assign to volumes or sends for DJ-style transitions.
Automate curves. Producers craft seamless intros; pro-level polish.
Untether with Bluetooth MIDI controllers—control from anywhere in the room. Pair with desktop via apps.
Produce standing, pacing ideas. Studio flow redefined.
Unlock these 7 MIDI controller tricks every producer must know and transform your sound. For the best MIDI controllers, check vipproaudio.com—your gateway to pro gear.

Clear Light Vessels
Here is an album I made for this past Christmas :) It’s called Clear Light Vessels. The title track as well as “They Can Help You Remember” were made from music I get in my dreams. Usually I elaborate on the melodies in FL Studio but remain true to the original musical structure. All other tracks were made mostly in 2025 with some going back to at least 2017. Enjoy!
If any of you use Bandcamp, you can add this album to your collection by using one of these first-come-first-serve codes. Please share if you like it, my wish is simply for people to hear this! Thank you and I’ll be posting the second album right after this!

🔊 What Do You Think of My Sound Design?
Hey everyone, I just posted a little sound design test on my YouTube channel! Been experimenting lately with heavy bass effects. Go check it out and let me know your thoughts! 😁
First WIP of the year, testing out the new monitors.
And the funny thing is that this one might not even get a full release, or at least not as an instrumental. This one might be going to a vocalist for their next project.
It started off as a Synthwave idea, but it’s kinda morphed into something else as I’ve worked on it….What would you all call this?
FINALLY DROP THIS
